Rib injury, but should practice Monday. Really? How is that possible? He ran one kickoff hard, and he was hurt on that?

Disappointing.

Jerry should of taken whatever Detroit was offering for this guy. He was one of my favorite players his rookie season, that was before I realized how soft the guy is. I really think he is done, barring a major turn around in his work ethic.

I still wish they would trade him. His preseason carried over into the first game. He is not a very good kick returner and he let a pass go right off his hands and smiled about it. He is not giving his all out there. I would much rather see Tanner as the primary backup and Dunbar as the 3rd RB and kick returner. Jones is bringing nothing to the team at this point except poor performance and attitude.

I don't know anymore, but I think Tanner is ready for the backup job. I hope we are looking for speed RB this upcoming year, I like the ones the Dolphins and the Steelers got this year. I know we wanted Cyrus Gray and were really disappointed when he was taken.

Is it too late to get a bag of Cheetos or something for him?

I would take a ball tee for him from Detroit.

Is it his rib or McRib? Felix was electric and I hope he can get some of his burst back.

I'm a big Felix fan but his play has been pretty bad to barely acceptable. Maybe it is the injury or something. He is in a contract year and has really hurt his chances of getting a decent contract.

The trade deadline has been moved to 8 weeks I think this year which helps the Cowboys if they decide to trade him. Although, based on Felix's play so far, If I were a GM I'd rather take Dunbar or Olawale from the PS for free.

Unless Jones shows something soon, I doubt he has anything more than minimal trade value (7th rd) now. Although, an injury to some RB might make his value go up.

It wouldn't surprise me to see Felix cut mid-season and replaced with Dunbar or Olawale.

Next year's draft is supposed to be deep in RBs and teams are drafting RBs later and later as a trend. Can pick up some good RBs in the later rounds next year. Probably Felix's last year here, or more likely, last half year here.

The Felix defenders are running out of excuses. He is one of a few players that needs to go and the team will be better for it. I think the last year of the three year plan will take of these problems. I just hope they are traded instead of being cut.

You really think he's still tradable?

Each time he takes the field, he gets closer and closer to being untradeable. Give it another 2 or 3 weeks and, yes, he will be untradeable barring some miraculous turnaround.

Trade him! Way to injury prone and isn't putting up any numbers of significant value. He's just going through the motions at this point.

Yeah. The Cowboys traded a 7th for C Cook. Was it last year, the Cowboys even got a pick for Proctor from the Dolphins?

An injury here or there, and his trade value goes up.

This may end being a blessing in disguise. He needs to take about 3 weeks off to focus on dropping about 15 lbs.

We were desperate for a center though. There is no desperation for a sub-par, injury prone RB anymore. There's barely a market for great ones anymore.
