Felix Jones

Felix Jones has killer speed. He hits the hole hard and thats what I love.

He is the perfect compliment to Barber. Barber will wear them out, and Jones will come in to run right by them.

You know, Felix is fast, but that Stanbeck is really fast! He caught up to Felix like it was nothing. I at first thought it was Barber for some reason and couldn't believe how fast he had become. On the replay I saw it was Stanbeck. Imagine if he could produce as a big time WR. Man...

I think Stanback had to actually slow up at the end.

I saw that too. He pulled up to prevent hitting the trailing defender in the back because there was no way he was going to catch Felix from behind.

So I wasn't criticizing Wade for not wanting to use Felix as a KR..... I don't get it..... but what ever you're trying to get please make your point quickly.....

If Stanback puts it together hes gonna be beastly.

He has that crazy burst that is almost TO esc.

That 5th gear.

Word.

He came out of nowhere and caught up to Felix.

Let's not forget how good Bennett caught the ball, and I don't want to hear about the play on the sideline, Dawkins just made nice play on the ball.

The rest of us get it, even if you don't.

again, if Bennett was more aggressive getting that ball, he probably would have came down w/ it

but he's showing me alot

Yes, this year's rookie class really fared well tonight.

Felix has top-end speed I simply was unaware of. It seemed like he got caught from behind a lot in college, but I'm not seeing any of that on the pro field. What a dynamic weapon. Literally every time he touches the ball it looks like he's gone.

What impressed me on those kickoffs is his ability to find the slightest of creases, slip through, accelerate, and burst down the sideline. He could be a Pro Bowl returner this year with Hester being hurt.

I get what you're saying, but I'm not sure even Witten makes that catch if he was "more aggressive." Dawkins was going for the pick and just happened to get a great hit on Bennett.

I disagree - just catching the ball showed excellent concentration and ball judgment. There is no way anyone catches that pass when Dawkins has that clean of a shot at your hands when you are catching that pass.

if you notice how Bennett almost caught that pass, if he just went up to get it, instead of continuing his route, he probably would have got it before Dawk could reach it, and he's 265, so I think he could have withstood the hit

Dawkins was going for the ball, Bennett should have gone up and used his body to shield Dawk from it

I'm not really knocking him, because he's aggressive after the catch, and as a blocker, just I saw something that he could have done better

Bennett never saw Dawkins coming, he thought it was an easy catch to the sideline, until Dawkins laid a helmet on his hands, making it an impossible catch. Could he have leapt and made a catch? Maybe. But he probably would have landed out of bounds. He didn't do anything wrong except not see Dawkins. Noone but noone makes that play.

Agreed. Good play by the other guy. End of story.
