I know this was a frustrating loss but keep in mind Felix gained only 6 yards on six carries...That's not getting it done either :(

Its not even about starting. Its about just letting Felix get the majority of the carries and not making him run to the outside every single time he is in the game.

Garrett said himself that he wants to build obvious tendancies to fool people but hes really gotta think twice about running out of the 22 package so many times a game.

Dont be so obvious man please.

With that said Garrett or Wade isn't the reason we lost and I know everyone is going to blame them but its clue the players just crapped this one away.

It started with Eli somehow escaping Carpenters sack. What a load of ****. Then Barber, of all people, fumbled the ball and we just let them back in when they were gasping for air.

I can't believe this team did this today. They knew better and they just blew it.

I'd mix FJ and Tashard for the most part and throw Barber in there for short yardage and 4th qtr...

I'd relegate hm to what he was under BP.

Felix Jones is a good inside yet Garrett keeps calling plays to the outside...
I call shenanigans on your post. What you said is obviously the result of thought and analysis... Like Garrett would ever employ such tactics in designing his game plan. Come on man..>THINK!

I said it a couple years ago, Cowboys should have drafted Chris Johnson, I said it about Moss, Mecheam, Lawson, and many more. The Cowboys do not know how to draft. It bothers me when Jerry Jones decide in his head he want Felix Jones because his last name Jones, and they from the same school Arkansas. C'mon now.

You telling me that Cowboys scouts or Jerry Jones or whoever makes the decision don't look a highlights and footage?

If you look at Chris Johnson and you look at Felix Jones you can clearly see that Chris Johnson is faster, more powerful, and more of a home-run hitter and also more durable than Felix Jones. But that's what been going on for years now.

Tashard Choice deserves a look.

Felix will be fine, ... Barber is a fullback, not a tailback.

Barber has no burst, can't go laterally and can't make anyone miss.

Choice is the every down NFL RB on this team.

He has a lot of the same qualities that Emmitt had. He runs low with his shoulder pads square to the LOS, runs north and south between the tackles, gets what is there.

Felix is not a kick returner.

Chris Johnson is going to get as much PT in Dallas as Felix would.

We will never know what kind of impact Felix will have the way we are useing him.

Chris Johnson wouldn't be Chris Johnson in Dallas.

What are we saving him for?

Beats me, when Barber was hurt we played Choice, I would trade Jones but he hasn't done any thing so we can't.

I blame the O-line over the running backs, today.

I agree... The offensive line doesn't do a good job of consistently blowing up defensive lineman.

The run blocking was terrible, as it has been in the past at times. It's ridiculous to watch teams, teams much worse than us, that are at least able to get to the line of scrimmage yet we have trouble even doing that. Either teams know exactly what we're running, or our linemen are among the worst in the league when it comes to run blocking.

please dont forget that Felix is the delicate glass flower, the more you give him the ball, the higher the odds he wrecks himself.

We can't think like that.

Its December, the end of the year, and he has to play.

If he gets hurt than so be it but at this point in time we can't worry about keeping guys healthy.

Hes in so little that it is obvious that he is going to get the ball when he is actually in there.

Chris Johnson wouldn't do so well either if he took the handoff and was hit by 3 defensive linemen before he reached the LOS.
The gnats were committed to stopping the run, they benched osi and made it very clear they were going to stop the run and that's exactly what they did.
The Cowboys offensive line was beaten in the running game (although they actually looked better in pass protection) and this loss falls on them.

Nick Folk and ST get an honorable mention.
