this isnt a pile on thread ......ive been thinking all through out the pre season and in the first 2 games thus far that he seems to have lost his quickness......is it just me?...in his limited touches it just seems hes not making anyone miss.......im wondering if the extra weight may be the problem

bears were spying him, when he came in they basically assumed it was going to him, same for choice. with barber in, however they assumed he was in for pass protection and as a checkdown target, this is why barber was getting yards on his runs

I don't think it would matter because Garrett would not use him right but if you had a redo on the 2008 draft would you do it?

It don't matter. The way our coaching works, if we had CJ on our team, he would be mainly used as a 3rd down back in the game to pick up blitzes.
