A fellow woodworker I know lost his whole shop and all of his tools to a fire this past weekend. Due to a transcription error when the property title was transfered, the insurance company will not pay for any of his loses. He could lie and get some recovery, but would never do it.
So, the woodworking board I frequent is raising some money and/or tools to get him back up to speed. I don't know if any of you are woodworkers, but if you are you'll understand how big a deal this is, even for a hobbiest.
Here is the thread discussing his loss and what we're trying to do.

I don't seem to be able to put the whole link here, probably user error. You'll need to search for Forrest's (cut twice) shop.
I post on that site as Scotman as well. Under one section of the board, you'll see a bowl turned out of quilted maple a guy is selling to forward the proceeds on to help out.
Thanks,
Scot
