google her
Please elobrate more.
Probably alluding to the fact that in all likelihood a female kicker will not be good enough to kick in the NFL because there are denizens of male kickers that are simply better than her. And the only reason to have her as a kicker in the NFL is for a publicity stunt because she's not as good as the men.
If that's the case, I don't blame him. While the chasm of difference between female and male leg strength is narrower than say upper body strength...it's still a chasm.

made 30 of 33 point-after tries and connected on a (as in ONE) 30-yard field goal as a senior.
Heh, I was gonna say, if she can make it from 50, then the chasm isn't too big.
Then I went to the story and saw this:
Nothing to see here. Novelty scholarship.

Thing is, I can't see a NFL team signing, and retaining on the 53 man roster, a woman kicker unless she could kick as well as a guy could.
With Extra points being from 32-33 yards out, it isn't a chip shot anymore.
No GM/HC wants to risk a game due to putting out a woman kicker. A small NCAA/FCS school could, but not in the NFL.
I'm in the belief if any NFL team actually signed a female kicker, it's due to her being good enough. Which remains to be seen.
Not what I meantsince females can build up their legs almost as much as men, it is not beyond possibility that someday there will be one in the NFL.
That's awesome. I imagine this is just the beginning and we'll see more and more women playing football at a high level, and not just kicking positions. It's really been just the patriarchal society that has kept women from excelling in football, like we've seen in other fields. Hopefully this shifts the culture of football to being based on merits and not a good ol boys club where male privilege is the end all and be all. There's no excuse for coaches not finding ways to utilize 50% of the population in football besides chauvinism. The future of football is female.
no because she is a girl, she would have to be the last gal to stop a breakaway kickoff returner...Can she be the last guy to stop a breakaway kickoff returner?
.......last player.............see: gender freeno because she is a girl, she would have to be the last gal to stop a breakaway kickoff returner...
could she be any worse then some of the kickers we have now? Just as a kicker I could see it happening one day; but not a punter or anything else........last player.............see: gender free
