There's been a guy on Twitter named Pretty Ricky that pulled a couple predictions out of his butt earlier this off season, so people started treating him like a God... he got like 200k followers easy. Then he missed on 4 or 5 big predictions. Talk about coming back down to earth. 15 mins of fame though??

I guess there can be some reward if you are lucky?

Engagement. The only way they can get it is by putting out the most extreme takes.

Sometimes they will be right, and only due to luck, but the vast majority of the time they will be wrong because they have the same access as 99.999999% of us do.
