That Browns tackler went right at Ferguson's knee. When is the NFL going to suspend and fine players for targeting ball carrier's knees???
I understand what you’re saying but, there’s not that much left of an offensive player that a defender can hit ..

It may not be major but I can see this easily being an MCL sprain, which will cost Love 3-6 weeks. When I read the ACL is intact, doesn't mean it's nothing, just means likely not major

On a side not zeke took a hard shot to the knee/thigh area that could have been disastrous....

I provided video in the 1st page. Go look at it. He went straight for Ferguson's knees.

Speed of the game man. I didn’t see anything in the video that proved intent to hurt Ferguson’s
Knee.

The defender went low because Ferguson is big and strong and the best way to get him down is to take him down at the legs. Not because he wanted to hurt him.

Dude is a LB. How is he not big enough?

Sorry, you are not taught to tackle that way or aim at the knees. Football 101 since peewee league.

You act like a tackler has perfect aim and is going to hit them at the exact spot they want to. Ever think that he was just trying to get nice and low and he went a little lower than he wanted and hit his knee?

Doesn’t that sound entirely plausible or are you just dead set on whining about a routine play that happens all the time in football?

Edit: I also didn’t say the defender wasn’t big enough. I said Ferguson is big and strong. Which is 100% true. Last thing you want to do is try to tackle him high.

I guarantee you if the NFL grew a pair and started penalizing and fining players who get caught on tape (like the one I provided) of a tackle clearly aimed at a ball carrier's knees, they would stop committing such a dirty play. It's easy to find plenty of area like the thighs, upper torso or arms to hit and wrap up a ball carrier as big as Ferguson. No excuse whatsoever for going at his knees which one is taught is a big no-no since peewee football.

Let's play football at your backyard, and let me tackle you right on your knees. Let's see if you won't be whining and crying. I bet you will.

Stop projecting your whining and crying onto me.

You’re whining and crying about a tackle. Get over it. Good lord

Grow up, man up and just admit you support dirty tackling.

It wasn’t a dirty tackle. It was poor tackling technique sure. His head was down, not up. He was looking at the ground rather than his target. He thus went lower than intended.

But it wasn’t dirty. You’re just sad because a cowboy player got hurt.

Here. Rewatch the tape. That guy clearly went right at Fergy's knees. He came in hot but stopped pulling his legs as he shot straight down at Fergy's knees. There was no need for it. He could have easily stayed up and ran straight into Fergy's mid-section or upper torso to make a clean tackle like you are taught to. But, no, his intent was to go straight at Fergy's knees. The tape doesn't lie.

Sorry, don’t see that at all. I see a defender using poor technique. Head down, eyes looking at the ground, not looking at his target.

I don’t see any intent to injure whatsoever.

Also, the torso or arms are the last place you want to try and tackle somebody like Ferguson. If you try that, he will run you over.

You wanna tackle him from the waist down.

efff it lets put all players in bubble wrap. You can't tackle high, if you go for the waist you could get flagged for hip drop if the ball carrier is bigger and stronger than the tackler, and you say you can't go for the knees  Its football where from day 1 you are taught low man wins.

If you ever played football, you would know you are not supposed to go at a ball carrier's knees. That's a big no-no.

If you don't believe me, let's go play tackle football at your place and let me tackle you at your knees. Let's see what will happen. Plus, don't complain AT ALL because remember...you support such a dirty play.

If you say, "Yes," then you are an honest man. If you say, "No," then you are being a hypocrite.

Absolutely but guess what going for a tackle knees, ankles, hips etc are pretty easy to hit unintentionally.
