Fergy is scheduled to return to action next week, by all expectations. He'll be afforded a rest this week as a precaution.

I don't take any victory for granted. If he can play against New Orleans, he should. If he can't play at full capacity, he shouldn't.
I still have flashbacks to them trotting Zeke out there with a partially torn MCL. That move did neither the player nor the team any good. I will say that team goes further in the playoffs with a healthy Zeke which it could have had if they just sat him the requisite 4-6 weeks to let that knee get right. So to me, Ferguson should sit until everybody in the room doctors, trainers and coaches all agree he can't make it any worse and there will be no dropoff in play. If he cannot pass that test then he shouldn't play.

When I saw the replay of the injury, I didn't think it was that bad, at least not the knee. I thought his ankle was the problem because it looked like his foot got caught under the tackler and was bent awkwardly. But you never know.

Elliott should not have been playing because his mobility was clearly hampered. Every case has to be judged on its own merits. If Ferguson merely has a bone bruise, then there's nothing wrong with him playing and he absolutely should. I agree that if the coaches determine playing could make things worse or that he is going to be limited, then he should not play.

I don’t know, but I’m sure they can get him a great bionic leg like the one Aubrey has.
Maybe Aubrey can be his leg donor. I think he could still make 60-yard field goals with just one leg.
