Fiasco's random thoughts

The criteria was pass catchers. No way you can say Dez is better than Jennings. Maybe 3 years from now but not yet.

Do you know how good Finley is? He's likely going to be the best receiver on the Packers team this year.

I love the Cowboys, just being realistic. In terms of consistency and production, I give the edge to the Packers.

I could argue that miles is just as good as jennings if not better. Dez is much better then driver and no finley isnt better then witten. sorry.

Miles drops too many passes to be better than anyone. Hopefully Dez is better than all this year. Witten is good at moving the chains but Finley makes big plays.

We agree to disagree.

I'd take Austin/Dez/Witten over Jennings/Driver/Finley

however...

I'd take Jennings/Driver/Jones (if he resigns), Jordy Nelson, Cobb, Finley over Austin/Dez/Witten/Ogleetree,and our 5th round pick WR.

In other words, our starting WRs/TEs are better than GB's, but their entire recieving corp is better than ours because they go much deeper... they also happen to put those guys all on the field at the same time.

I kind of like the potential of R.White/J.Jones/T.Gonzalez. Despite Tony's age, he's still ballin. White, 'nuff said. And Jones, has yet to be seen, but I think he'll be good. I'll be a homer and go with the 'boys on this one, but I do really like what this could turn out to be.:star:

7. teams have a year of film to watch on vick. he won't put up the same numbers.
Actually teams have several years of film on Vick.

a lot of wishful thinking there.

I disagree on this one. Yes, teams had film on Vick last year, but they didn't have film on Vick in Andy Reid's offense, throwing the ball to Jackson and Maclin. I predict you'll hear no "Vick for MVP" talk in '11.

I forgot that point. that is encouraging.

also, manny johnson will be cut and brandon williams will show something to get excited for

i do not think that brandon williams will do anything. the guy is another wasted pick. two years and he can barely get on the field even for special teams.

he was recovering from a acl injury he should be 100% this season so its time for him to show something.

I'll take our receiving corp. espeically now that we snagged the coach Robinson away from the "pakers"..........

over the years he seemed to be the one consistent factor that had them being able to restock when needed.......

I'm hoping he can shake Ogeltree and Harris to productive minutes on short notice to boot, as he did with the young farm boy recvr for the pack last yr.

But Vick never had those kind of weapons in ATL. Roddy had Quincy Morgan hands back when Vick was in Atlanta. His #1 target was Alge Crumpler.

I guess we'll find out soon. As a Cowboys fan I hope you're right.

Guy had a knee injury. He's been having a great camp.
