Pardon my ignorance on this topic but isn't this... irrevelant?

I know of his antics from the 60's and 70's, the embargo and etc... but hasn't his brother been in charge for like 10 years or something?

I could of swore Castro stepped down because he had been becoming more ill.

The embargo was lifted and now Americans can travel to Cuba... while he was alive.

Sometimes it's strange the people who die on the same day or near the same day. Florence Henderson certainly didn't have much in common with Castro. Florence will be missed. Fidel ... not so much, at least not by many people.

I remember that Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett died on the same day. very different people (though I would not compare either to Castro).
