Field conditions at the 'Linc' on Sunday...

Going to be raining all day today (Friday) and on and off tomorrow, I hear. Also, the Temple Owls play at the 'Linc' Saturday aftrenoon. It's going to be sunny on Sunday but wow, I wonder what that field is gonna be like at gametime? A muddy mess?

Field and weather will be no factor on Sunday. I actually know someone on the grounds crew for the Linc. The field will be in very good condition. The weather is forecast to be 72 degrees, no humidity and light wind. In other words, not a factor.

This is the first time in years that I remember the boys playing a game at the Linc when the weather will be above 70, btw.

That's too bad. The Eagles would be at a disadvantage in a poor weather induced slugfest with their lack of a ground game and beat up defense.

Reminds me of the 92 NFC Championship Game when Candlestink was a sloppy mess. No one gave the boys a chance and look what happened. Of course this game is not that significant, but the Boyz are clearly the underdog. Hope to see a little deja vu.

Yeah, the league is pretty good about making the Cowboys go on the road every year to Philly, NY, and Wash in November and December.
