Fight at camp: Dez and Tyler Patmon

It has happened in good and bad camps, since the dawn of football.

But now, it is suddenly interesting.

You're right that it can happen in any camp for any team, but...

The teams where it happens more often are the teams that are chippy and edgy. The chippy and edgy teams are almost always the teams that are good.

Just like when the team bullied Seattle back last year when they tried to intimidate the Cowboys at their stadium, or when the Packer took a cheap shot at Lambeau field.

This Cowboys team isn't going to put up with any of that. They're fighters. And when you have a bunch of fighters on a team... there are a lot of fights.

Patmon was great today. Read he was all over the field.

No other player would concern me. But I always worry that Dez will do something stupid later. Hopefully, Garrett will talk him down later. I get visions of Irvin/McIver (scissor-gate). Don't need that.

As long as Dez doesn't cut Patmon on line for a haircut, it's all good.

Yep! That's the exact attitude I'd expect them to have and is really healthy for team chemistry.

The fact that it happened so early shows the mind set for this team.

I get more and more excited about this year's prospects every day. Awesome.
