No, they won't. They've got far more issues than Dallas. But the fact you and I are hashing it out is sad.

We're not hashing anything out. I don't really believe the Giants will win the east...just that with our luck they would. I never thought they'd win 2 SB's with the team they had either.

This team SCREAMS mediocrity! I noted that in the prediction - we'd lose for this game. This "culture" has gone all the way back when we "lived" the consecutive 5-11 seasons.... Parcells almost broke the trend - but the team lapsed into the Wade Phillips years - and is still in the culture..... Too many "protected children" where results don't bring consequences. Every position needs someone to "push" for excellence - and the team just doesn't have the stomach to make it so (and it starts with Jerry). As long as he can sell out the venues - there is no urgency......

That "clown" had this team in position to beat Denver, Kansas City, and Detroit yesterday, and be 7-1.

Tell me how you blame those losses on him. He didn't drop Carter's interception or Dez' touchdown in KC. He didn't throw the interception against Denver. He didn't commit the holding for Tyron or give up 623 yards of offense yesterday. Yes, he could have taken a knee on third down and punted, but three points was a good trade off, you would think.

He's dealing with what Jerry gave him, and he's improving it slowly and steadily amidst salary-cap hell. This team plays damn hard for him, and has since he took over.

You're just predisposed to criticize the head coach, like 90 percent of NFL fans do.
You realize, that bad teams find themselves "in position to beat" good teams all the time? The biggest difference is the good teams usually do it, teams like Dallas usually do not.

Garrett's been in Dallas since 2007. We're on a pace for our 3rd straight .500 season. He's had far less success than his predecessor. Barring a huge 2nd half turnaround, few NFL teams would bring hm back in 2014.

Jerry fired Tom Landry. The 90s dynasty. Jerry has made good decisions before,he just hasnt made enough good ones going on 2 decades now.

The only good decision Jerry made was hiring Jimmy Johnson to replace Landry as coach. He screwed up almost everything royally after that (including that he refused to give Jimmy the credit he deserved, demanding more than his share of the credit for himself...his ego forcing Jimmy out the door).

That said, Jerry isn't going anywhere. We're stuck with that. I wish that those who can't accept the Cowboys the way they are would leave and go find another football team to love. It gets old hearing the bashing and put-downs all the time. One major reason I don't come here as often as I'd like. Some of you act like the Cowboys should be entitled to win a Super Bowl every 5 years or so....some franchises haven't won one yet, but still manage to have loyal fans.

Yes, he needs to act more like Calvin Johnson.

Maybe if he yells louder, we'll score 32 points and give up only 500 yards on defense.

Calvin Johnson got the ball thrown his way 18 times yesterday.. how many times did it go to Dez?

You don't need to yell when your team realizes what a weapon it has in you.

Of course, i wouldn't expect some Cowboys fans to realize that..

PS.. love the "act more like CJ" bs. lol

So should he act "less like" Peyton and Tom Brady then?

Because those guys go ape **** at times when things aren't going the way they should or people aren't playing to the level that they are able to.

It is cognitive dissonance to say that Jerry is a meddler, or clueless or both and then prop up Jerry's friends son as the solution to the problem.

Is he clueless or isnt he? Why doesnt that extend to his chosen one?

.

First, those guys are quarterbacks, and second, they don't do it for two hours straight without taking a breath.

Who was Dez yelling at in the end? Ever see Petyon or Brady do that? No, no you haven't.

Night and day.

And Calvin has had many frustrating days, and didn't stoop to Dez' level.

Even Michael Irvin is calling Dez out. Think about that.

Maybe the reason you never hear Calvin Johnson complain is because his QB knows he's the best player on offense and throws the ball to him 20 times a game.

Who the hell cares what other team's players do? I care only about Dez making a complete arse out of himself...so much so that even Michael Irvin says he needs to knock it off.

But who cares? Jerry is happy because even though the media will tear Dez to pieces over this garbage his team will be on everyone's lips.

All is right in Jerry Jones' world. Nothing to see here.

Well into the 4th quarter every sane fan knew what was likely about to take place.

Sure we held out for Marinelli & the Kiffin D to hold it together but it's the same ole' thing in Jerry's World, we are his Kids, Fans Media, Coaches and Players alike....all Jerrys' Kids and we believe every word of his Comedy, send in another check for the cure, nobody falls for it worse than those afflicted by it, God bless our poor football souls. Dallas has long since been Dead, like the dead cat your dogs drag up, bury the thing rotting carcasses are for the worms.

We are and have been a middle of the road team for 18 years and counting, this isn't road rash we are part of the pavement. Done ....like a bottle cap, because sometimes all you've got is rolling your hand in the wind.

Didn't see it, and haven't heard anyone say a word about it.

I saw it. Just having a hard time confirming it was that same drive, although I believe it was part 1 of a 3 part colossal screw up on that drive.

Trying to verify, but annoyingly enough, the Cowboys--Lions game is the only one not working on Game Rewind right now. Even more annoying? The condensed version is working for me, but the broadcast version is the one having trouble (the only one where this would be visible).

Not trying to argue with you but Romo didn't have time to breathe back there, much less wait for Dez to get open. Also, Megatron wasn't exactly "covered up" on many of his catches and is a much more established route runner than Dez is at this point. I don't think I want Romo just throwing it up to Dez in double coverage a lot because then we will be arguing about Romo and the int's. The Lions did a darn good job on Dez and Witten along with pressuring Romo. I do agree that we didn't have much of a game plan going into that game.........
