Isn't this like rehashed information?
I'm not trying to be critical. I thought it might be something I haven't read or maybe a new update. Can't have too many Jaylon updates.Yep, it sure is -- but the offseason is funny that way.
It's about the only kind of info we get with J.Smith...that and It's firing with no real proof other than what they tell us.
I don't want to hear about it anymore and refuse to get too excited or down on him until I see him actually get some playing time in an actual game vs 1st teamers.
Think about it this way.
If he's only active for Game 1, he'll already be as productive as Myles Jack. LOL.
Never understood the hype on Jack.
Haha, it does look like 64.So Jaylon's playing offensive line now?
Awww its a Barbie sighting...should have been Steven Jackson...

yeah....totally makes sense esp since Jackson has been out of the league like 4 years now? In all seriousness Jackson was never able to get the team he played for over the hump..while the Rams were competitive they never won anything and by the time he moved to ATL he didn't have any juice left in the tank...so yeah you're right...Barbie was the best pick!!Yeah but if they took Jackson all the marbles would not have fallen, or rolled, in the right direction for us to eventually take Zeke years later......

Part of me believes that people thought Jack was better simply because Smith played for ND. ND is just one of those schools that rubs people the wrong way so players from there get tainted a bit. I recall some people having issues with Martin........... calling him a tweener - is he a OT or OG in the NFL, not athletic enough, etc.
I'm not sure "great" even captures how significant his contribution could be. If he can meet those expectations and Sean Lee stays healthy, we are looking at more than likely another year of being a top 5 defesnse against the run. Of course, our offense will likely still remain the big reason for that, but having Sean and Jaylon as sure tacklers hovering above the line of scrimmage will be huge.It would be a great boost to the defense if he can play at a pro bowl level
