Maybe I missed something in the 2nd game, but did Darrell Robertson play that well?

I'd be very surprised if we kept 7 CBs. OTOH, I wouldn't be surprised if Jerry keeps 7 because there scouts from other teams who really need a CB & Jerry isn't going to cut one for one of those teams to grab off the waiver wire. He'll try forcing a trade so we can add another late round pick.

The hardest pick was Eric Walden vs Alan Ball. Both 7th round picks and usually you keep all your picks of the current year, but I think Walden is just way to raw at this point and Ball has a lot more value overall. Walden to the practice squad. Personally, I would take Ball over Oglesby because he has far more upside, but we have a great chance to win it all this year and Oglesby is more polished. There might be a trade involving one of these CBs as he are loaded with very talented players at that position. We really don't need seven CBs. How about Oglesby or Ball for Beck?

I just don't think Danny boy is going to make the cut because there is just to much in front of him at all of his positions. He has the ability to return kicks, but we are loaded at that position too with Pacman, Crayton, Austin, Stanback, Newman, and even Felix Jones! There is just no room for him at this point. He won't ever dress on game day as a receiver or on special teams.

Dowayne Davis makes the team because of Special Teams. He is pretty much Killa's replacement. With Pat Watkin's safety play not progressing much, his special teams play is the only thing keeping his job with the Cowboys alive. If Davis' safety develops, he could move up the depth chart at safety.
