Awesome, if you liked the original at all, you'll love the remaster. Anyone else picking it up?

Yep I got it today and put in about 7 hours on my day off. It's amazing how much the fast forward feature helps. Love the new job changes too. I'm going to try and finish all the hunts this time, which I never did on the ps2.

Yeah, on PS2, I rushed through the game, I'll definitely do all the hunts this time.

Nope. This is the FF (not counting 11) that started me on not caring much. Maybe 10 did a little, but 12 really did it. With 13, I didn't even finish the first (a divorce in the middle of it didn't help). I have 15, but haven't even started it yet. This used to be my favorite series too.
