I've got to say this year is more challenging to project for the Cowboys; A) can't use the 30 visits as a guideline, B) New Coaching Staff

1-K' Lavon Chaisson OLB LSU

All reports are pointing to 3 legitimate players at 17, Chaisson, Terrell & Murray. I do believe Chaisson sits atop of the three and has a strong possibility being available. Yes, some risk involved due to lack of production, but is just 20 years old, missed 1 season, but appears to be very mature. This selection is more about upside then about year 1.

2-Jeff Glaney CB TCU

I have done several mock simulations and each time, 51 had few little quality corners to choose from. Team may have to use their 4th rd pick to land a quality one. I do believe Glaney is the most likely to fall out of the 3rd tier CB's (after Okudha/Henderson). He reminds me of Orlando Scandrick.

3-Van Jefferson WR Florida

The Cowboys have surrounded Dak with strong route runners. Van Jefferson is considered one of the best in the class. He also can backup on the outside and offers special team abilities. Older prospect, but a player who should be able to make an immediate impact.

4-Devin Asiasi TE UCLA

He was suppose to be a 30 visit, team has shown major interest with this prospect. Many insiders believe he is going to go much higher then what the media scouts are saying, even possible that he goes a round higher. He is more of a balanced TE prospect.

5a-K'Von Wallace S Clemson

It is quite possible he goes a rd higher. I think he drops cause he doesn't project to be a starter. More of a versatile, sub-package player and strong special teamer. Could have real value for this team.

5b-James Lynch DL Baylor

A highly productive player, but many question his athletic ability and size to become an impact player on the next level. A rotational pass rusher for the Cowboys

7-Cordel Iwuagwu G TCU

A good ZBS Guard to develop, Cowboys did conduct a video conference with him.

I really like those first 4 picks. Nicely done

Gladney appears to have too many ball skills to play DB in Dallas.

Good looking mock. We are pretty much in agreement on Gladney. He isnt a high floor guy, but he is a guy who will be a mortal lock to be amoungst your top CB's.

One thing we don't have to worry about him is his tackling, a minority trait in this year's CB class.

Our final projections are very similar. I'm hearing Jaylon Johnson is looking more and more like a 1st rd player.
I didn't know he was injured but heard he should be ready when the season starts.

Purtty Guuud.

Jeff Glancey is a borderline first rounder.
Zero chance he makes it to 51.
I don't think this is true. He could easily be like the 9th corner off the board, especially because he's a really risky pick.

Okudah, Henderson are pretty clearly 1-2, but after that, there's a bunch of guys that could go in pretty much any order.

Diggs, Terrell, Arnette, Fulton, Dantzler, Johnson, Igbinoghene, Gladney

Just about every mock I've seen has him going late first, early second round. He will be picked somewhere in that area.

"Early second" isn't really that far from 51, is the point. It's not like mocks are ever accurate.

I agree mocks aren't ever accurate but they get very close in the ballpark of what actually happens.

I agree that the mocks in this section having us land a guy like Gladney or Fulton at #51 are really optimistic.

But no one expected Awuzie to fall to #60. Or having our pick of almost any safety we wanted last year (and still took Hill, smh).

Someone will more than likely fall.

Hope you're right.
