Ultimately I don’t love taking any of the guards at 24 and I don’t see any impactful defensive players being available at 24. This causes me to want to trade back and hope to end up with 1 of Green/Zion/Linderbaum at 30. In this case I chose Green as the most likely available

Trade 24 for 30 and 94- KC moves up using 1 of their 2 3rd round picks to secure the best available WR Dotson

30- Kenyon Green OG Texas A&M

I would take this draft. The only things I would worry about would be Green’s knees. Another thread said his knees would not good and I would worry about Williams intangibles. Great job as always and thanks.

Not bad. Not a huge fan of Tindall but overall they certainly could do worse than this haul.

Yeah with vague mentions of knee issues popping up today I’m not sure what to think with out more info. But if it’s a degenerative/could have problem down the line type situation I’m not that worried to be honest. Can we get 5 prime years out of the knee? If yes sign me up.

And Williams wouldn’t be available in the 2nd if it wasn’t for the character concerns. He’s got the bust and bend around the end traits of an elite pass rusher. Worth the gamble imo

I can live with that.

Thanks for honest/fair trade
Its a rarity in most of our CowboysZone mocks that have us getting steals all the time

This sounds good to me. I too am not crazy about staying at 24. A trade back like this would be good. And KC is the perfect trade partner if they're looking WR. Which I think they are.

Or possibly trade up to 14 if any of the top talents in this draft happen to fall. But I think that's not likely to happen.

Just do not let Dallas trade with GB, and GB selects a WR. Especially if that WR is Olave. But I guess Rodgers don't have that long left to really do much with him. :muttley:

What do you not like about Tindall in the 3rd? I was actually thinking people were going to say he won’t last that long. 230 with 4.4 speed and loves hitting people…needs some coaching and play experience, but 3rd round that should be kind of expected imo

Worried about Green's knee, but I'm glad you addressed the defensive and offensive lines and the linebacker position.
I don't want to see a receiver until the fourth round. I'd rather improve the running game more so than the passing game. And that requires a road grader.

I would be very happy with that. Williams would be the only pick I dislike but I also realize that he's a very realistic pick for Dallas in the 2nd.

I would much rather have Paschal or D. Jackson if avail. Williams isn't bendy and ends up on the ground too much. Combined with his off the field stuff, I think his bust potential is too high for a 2nd round pick.

I love that one too. So many of the same names I’ve been taking. I can handle taking a kicker given everything else that was accomplished. That RB at the end is a head scratcher for me.
Having Cade York last season would have probably meant a 1st round bye. We probably win at least two of TB, LV, and Arizona and possibly all three with a good kicker. Zuerline cost us TB and LV, and missed a FG in a 3 point Arizona loss.

Instincts seem to be lacking to the point where coaching may not be able to help the issue. That said, I would be happy to take him in the third with his athletic profile. He does a lot better when he has a downhill assignment but he will struggle a lot when asked to drop in zone and be accountable for anything running behind him... just looks lost a lot in those instances. Good upside though. Certainly no issue with his ability to run or hit.

York doesn’t kick off.
