Musgrave is injury prone and might need development time as he's kind of raw. Definitely talented though.

Dell? Ehhh. He was supposed to be this burner and his combine times weren't impressive. He's small. He may end up being a good WR in time, but I wouldn't expect any sort of immediate impact from him.

Yea I’d only make the Musgrave pick if the medicals check out. If so I think he’s great value in round 2. He has very high end traits.

Dells game isn’t about long speed. It’s route running, burst and elite short area quickness. His tape is great IMO. I like the idea of a high end slot bc rookie Dak thrived with Beas and I think Dell is a souped up version of him.

Last crack at a mock before the draft next week. Trying to keep it realistic based on players the Cowboys have expressed interest in and players I like.

1. Will McDonald - DE
2. Luke Musgrave - TE
3. Tank Dell - WR
4. Byron Young - DT
5. Mekhi Garner - CB
6. Braeden Daniels - OL

Love it. Musgrave is a great pick in the 2nd because you are not asking him to be immediately better than Ferguson. Ferguson can be a bridge. 1st....you really need that guy to be your #1.

You and I have been team Team Young og's for a while now. Slam dunk in the 4th. Productive and makes your DL better in a lot of small ways. Great utility. Id consider him in the 3rd

We dont really need him too. Top 3 are pretty much locked up. A top guy could squeeze Gallup out some, but we are good with what we have as far as the top 3. Its not an immediate need. Dell is a solid long term bet, and that 3rd is pretty late so you probably cant expect much immediate impact from that pick anyways

I think he can make an impact the minute he steps on the field.
