So true. If they practice this every day like MM said, Dak should have have known to hand the ball to the ref. We'd have had one more shot.
But I still want someone to explain the delay of game earlier where the ref wouldn't let us snap the ball while he let the play clock run out. Not why we lost, but it was ridiculous.
The delay of game happened because the Niners didn't substitute anyone out when the Cowboys left their punt team out, so the Cowboys had to try and quickly switch their personnel and there was a Cowboys player arguing with a Niners player which caused the delay. Shannon Sharpe posted the video on his Twitter page, and it's just another example of this team being poorly coached.

Dak and Kellen lost the game the previous drive. To have the ball at midfield, at home, with over 2 mins and 3 TOs and you turn the ball over on downs?!?!

THAT is an even worse failure than a last gasp desperate cluster-cuss play to finish a sloppy game.
Wonder how many times last two minutes in general, and that last play in particular, will be mentioned, discussed, and shown between now and training camp?

I still don’t accept this.
The refs have to have the humility to admit they ***** up.
Winners don't put themselves into position to let an outside entity have control over the outcome. The team had multiple chances to succeed and they didn't.

Yup it's not the refs' fault we committed so many pre-snap penalties or so many holds that negated chunk gains to Lamb.

That play could end up being the play that defines Dak’s career. He is going to have to have a career defining win in the playoffs to wash the stink off.

Elway was able to do it. He was always known as a playoff choker… then a strong running game gave him a chance to redeem himself

Matthew Stafford gets his opportunity today.

Ha. The most embarrassing play in history started when Dallas showed up at the stadium that day.

The QB draw needed to be called in the 3rs quarter on the opening drive. Suck them in and take off. Then a roll out and let him take off again if the space was there. Could have put the 49ers on alert that we made adjustments at half. But we didn’t..

That’s not even the most embarrassing play in Cowboy’s history. That might not even be the most embarrassing play in that game.
The one Wilson lost in the sun. Was a big play. Was a bad throw and worse catch attempt and was open..

Absolutely true. We were awful all day. Still doesn’t mean the refs didn’t screw up. Why can’t anyone accept this? The refs blew it. That has nothing, hear me, nothing, to do with why we lost.

That was 100% on Dak I think he was reading the play and saw a run and thought he could get a 20 yard chance instead of 40 yards. He should have giving the ball to a ref instead of put it where he was.
Yah......let him FIND a ref and hand him the ball.

Plenty of time left......

THINK........ Good, Lord.

His team made it to three SB prior to winning it all… some choker

As stupid as it was for Dak to choose to run it there, we didn't deserve to win the game, and even if it was successful, weren't likely to.

Very slim margin of success for that play with no time outs and amount of time on the clock, you need to factor in variables like what happened with Dak, The play was executed pretty well actually, but still who ever called that should be fired. Or re-hired somewhere else.

Having said that the Refs are going to need to move quicker or just stop the darn clock after every play, more than once I saw refs this year placing Offenses in tough situations on the play clock by lollygagging around like this is HS or something.
