Seriously, if not for the OBVIOUS bad calls and non-calls (Romo getting hit in the head twice) we're in the 40's and Cleveland would have been in the single digits.



Not complaining about the officiating (some games go your way, some go against you), but some of those calls were HORRIBLE and the non-calls were even worse. That PI call on Owens was a joke, all he did was get the defenders arm off of him and he didn't extend his arm to do it (which is what the rule says has to happen for it to be an offensive PI).

I'm gonna get a little more than annoyed if defenders keep hitting our franchise QB in the head and they don't get called for it.

Those helmet to helmet shots had me mad, like I said in the game thread. Ware gets called for that if he barely touches the QB, I've seen him get called for a "hit to the QB's head" when he jumped into the air and his hand brushes the QB's helmet.

The one by McGinest, that busted Romo's chin open was just nasty and should have been text book penalty IMO.

A lot of the penalties were legitimate too, though. The team really needs to be more disciplined.

What's incredibly pathetic about it is both times the defender actually LEAD with their helmet and hit Romo in the head. I could understand if it wasn't intentional and just happened to graze his helmet, but that wasn't the case. They were obvious, deliberate (sp?) hits to his head. Horrible non calls.

Yeah those calls were horrendous. We always get called for the nick nack unintentional penalties, but other teams get by with blatent disregard of the rules. Makes me sick.
