Romo is officially 3rd all-time in Passer Rating at 95.6 behind only Steve Young (96.8) & Philip Rivers (95.8). Unofficially, Aaron Rodgers is #1 at 97.2 but he has not thrown 1500 attempts yet so his ranking is unofficial.

It cracks me up when people tell me that Tony Romo is overrated or that he hasn't won anything yet. The guy is one of the best QBs to ever play the game folks!

Yep the 3 guys ahead of him: Otto Graham 9.0, Sid Luckman 8.4, & Norm Van Brocklin 8.2 all played in the 40s & 50s. Van Brocklin was the last to play in 1960 so no QB after 1960 has a higher average yards per pass attempt than Tony Romo. That's nearly 50 years guys!

Roethlisberger is right behind Romo's 8.1 though at 8.0 and was second only to Philip Rivers this year (8.55 to 8.75).

Very impressive numbers for Romo. And I will admit that my thoughts about him have changed after watching a majority of the Cowboys december games. He certainly has maturted and knows what it takes to win similar to the evolution Rivers has undergone the last few years.

Along with 26 TD passes and only 9 Ints.

Pretty good for a guy whose a slightly more mobile Marc Bulger without the 38 TD passes that went to Buffalo.

I think Romo's stats will only improve from here on out. Now that we have our core guys, and we bring in some fresh talent at certain positions every couple of seasons. Romo should have a steller carrer.... and hopefully some bowls to highlight it!!
