Well it's very close now and I'd be happy enough with more than 5-6 players including DeCastro and Barron though there do seem to be several detractors.

1) Cox
2) Coples
3) Brockers
4) Ingram
5) DeCastro
6) Barron
7) Poe

Jerrys/Jimmys 1992 mentality would have us taking all speed and talent at all cost, could see Coples, Jenkins and Irvin all on the same team in the first 2-3 rounds.

That's not Jerry anymore, Coples may already be off the Board, though he took a chance on Bryant, more baby sitting isn't optimal.

Watch out for Brockers, he's not going to need Day Care.

Dez was 100% effort on the field. Coples is not. He quit last year. Big difference between those two players.

I think it's DeCastro or Brockers and I think the tie goes to Brockers.

Out of your list of 7 I only like 4 and wouldn't touch two of them even if they were UDFAs.

Brockers I don't like but I think he is worth a 2nd round pick. Look at what LSU DL have done in the NFL. Brockers isn't a great player and you don't draft based soley on potnetial and size. Same with Poe. Coples I just don't think fits in as a 3-4 DE.

Give Cox, Ingram, Barron, or DeCastro and I will be happy. Add Gilmore to that list.

I don't understand the HATE for Coples.

For someone who apparently been given the "lazy" label he still produced in college every year. Last yr he still produced more sacks than Cox.

I think he gets drafted before 14th or else I think we be crazy not taking him.

He HAS potential and HAS produced in college. In his "off and lazy" yr he still registered 7.5 sack and 15 tackles for losses....that's damn good.

I see him as potentially the next Seymour type DE.

Michael Brockers could be this Drafts Tyron Smith. Whom many people did not like a year ago.

Interesting take on LSU DL. With that mindset, where would you draft Matt Barkley next year? USC has a bad track record for QB's in the NFL (Palmer - couple of good years, Leinart - bust, Sanchez - ughh). Just curious.

The LSU DLineman comes in Day 1 as the best run Defender on the entire Cowboys Roster.
