I am not sure if there is a thread about this but where was the urgency in that last drive? Why were we playing for OT when we are on the road? Acting like the 2 point conversion was a gimmie? I kept thinking we should have went no huddle the whole drive to give the defense a chance in case we missed the conversion.

You're complaining about a TD drive that we were successful on despite constant penalties?

Yes I am. Not sure how much time we had to start the drive but there was zero urgency the whole drive. I think we huddled after every single play that drive.

We overcame two 4th and 10s on that drive. Its an absolute miracle we even scored......

There was tons of urgency. The constant penalties (three in a row at one point) slowed it down. You don't overcome what the offense did on that drive if there isn't any.

Apparently, Garrett didn't want to leave Baltimore with time to drive for a field goal if we happened to tie the game.

As it was, we failed on the two-point conversion, and leaving so little time on the clock led to the debacle at the end and trying a 51-yard field goal on second down.

Dont get what I am saying wrong. It was a good drive and we did overcome alot. But was there one no huddle play on that drive or did every singe play of that drive take 40 seconds.

He's not talking about a "mental focus" type of urgency, he's talking about clock management. We had a first down on the Ravens' 29 with 1:49 left. We ran the ball and let the clock tick down to 1:17 before we snapped it again. At that point, we were letting the clock run on purpose.

Exactly. How much time was there on the clock when we started that drive with 3 timeouts. And I dont understand anyone saying we didnt want to leave the Ravens time on the clock when we go for the TD strike with 1 minute left on the clock. If we score there that is just enough time for the Ravens to score but not enough time or timeouts for us to do anything if we miss the 2 point conversion.

It's a great point. I was complaining about this in the Game thread and it fell on deaf ears. I hatre that we hardly incorporate the no huddle into our game plan and that we didn't on that last drive. We were acting like we had all day to drive down the field. There was one play in particular, I think it might have been Felix's short run at the 32 for 3 yards, where after the play we huddled with like a minute and a half left and the clock winding down. I was like are you serious right now. We need to score a TD and a 2 pt. conversation. We were huddling like we in position to kick a game winning FG and running time off the clock.
