Mr Broadus outlined some of the weakness he saw on the Saints defense. This team is a contender for the SB. This is like a money ball in the three point shootout for the nba all star game. You get a head to head victory vs a fellow playoff contender and you have that in your back pocket if you so happen to tie in record and it's a conference win.

This team is very good with Bridgewater as they showed vs the Seahawks, another playoff contender. Brees is a HOF quarterback . We need to take advantage of this opportunity. If they were a 10 with Brees they are now like a 9 which is still very tough. We want to win the race in the standings so that we can EARN a bye in the postseason and home field. Going to places like New Orleans and Seattle arent ideal places to get a win in the post season.

I think our team can over come the absence of Gallup with guys like Pollard vs LBs and Cobb being used more , even on back shoulder fade like he did with Rodgers.

We match new orleans well. We have the weapons . Dak is on another level . I think we can and will get this win. The stadium will be loaded with Cowboy fans. Let's get a win Cowboys!!https://www.dallascowboys.com/news/final-thoughts-saints-weaknesses-on-defense

Lost me when you say the team is a 10 with breeze and a 9 with Bridgewater if that were the case Bridgewater would not be in NO. There are some qb desperate teams that would have signed him if he was 50% of what breeze is.

I don't know man...........on any given day. Just depends on how this HC has got the Cowboys mentally prepared.
We know they've got the talent to win the game.

Yeah more like a 6-7 without Brees. Bridgewater is a backup for a reason not exclusively bc of his knee.

david--that is right bro....lets go down there on sunday night and kick some real butt and win by double digits

Get the win in New Orleans and we won't have to go back there for the playoffs when they have Brees back.
Joe that is right...we got to just take care of business on all 3 phases of game..offense, defense, ST's and then party back on Jone's Jet to Dallas

Seahawks in that game had no running game outside of Wilsons scrambling for 50 something yards. Bridgewater hasn't shown he has the deep ball in his arsenal consistently thru 2 games, thus his under 200 yards passing.

Im not worried about their offense. Our defense wants them to get the ball out quick short passes small games and try to go 80 yards down the field that plays into their hands we will get plenty of stops. The key to winning will be our offense beating up on their defense and scoring touchdowns in the red zone. I'm confident our offense will keep rolling like it has the first three games.

If we don’t turn the ball over I think this is not that tough a game
TB is a nice backup but he is not near drew
With drew they are a 9
Without 6

Brees or no Brees if you aiming at being the best you beat any team on your schedule. They don't give trophies for second place.

Bridgewater was going to sign with the Dolphins for a decent contract, and a chance to be the starter. This was before they traded for Rosen.
But the Saints told him they had confidence in him to be the replacement for Brees, and paid him accordingly.

I don't think the Saints tried any deep passes against the Seahawks. Maybe it was the gameplan, to get him more comfortable with the system. I am sure at home, they will take some shots.

All the Saints need to do is stay around .500 with Bridgewater. The NFCS is weak. And if Brees does come back in 6 weeks, they can still easily win that division.
This game is important to win. To keep that head to head edge for playoff seeding. If both teams make it there.

People are taking WAY to much from the Seattle game. That was as anomalous an NFL game as you’ll ever see.

The Seahawks, at home, outgained NO 500 yards to 250, won TOP, came out even in the TO battle, had twice as many first downs, ran 26 more plays and had fewer penalties...yet at one point were down 27-7 and ultimately lost.

That simply doesn’t happen in the NFL. Before that game, home teams who doubled up (or more) their opponents in yardage, had fewer penalties and didn’t lose the turnover battle had lost TWICE in NFL history. TWICE.

They could play that game 100 times and Seattle would win 90 of them.

This.

Fumble for touchdown
Punt return for touchdown
Failed 4th down before half leading to points
Multiple failed 4th downs
