At least there are 2 more of them on the roster than in the past. He’s the short yardage and goal line run stuffer.

Ridgeway is a little different because he’s been talked about almost all year as a guy that would be a nice addition. Not saying much but he’s 1 of the better guys that we’ve drafted from a talent standpoint at the position.

Last year we had Bohanna, Urban, Watkins. This year we have replaced Urban with Ridgeway, so looking at last year I see room for both Ridgeway and Bohanna.

We are trying to replace the players we lost. Wasn't Connor Williams oft penalized? I think Smith is a perfect fit at left guard. It's like Connor never left.

RIdgeway grades out much higher than Bohanna did 6.1 vs 5.88. He was Ranked 133 with lots of room for improvement on technique. He's not Jordan Davis, Travis Jones, or Phidarian Mathis but I hope he can at least be part of the solution to our run defense.

Travis Jones was my favorite prospect in the class, but am happy with Ridgeway. He is more of that old schooled 2 down player who will take on double teams and push the pocket.
