We have the personel in place to close the deal this year.

Its starts with QB play. Romo talks ALOT about preparation. I have no doubt he will be prepared for Giants.

100% agreed. This game could carry us a long way. Our team is built via the draft. Which in turns = greatness for many years. We have the confidence and talent to make it happen now!! BP knows this.

We should win the Giant game easily and and run right into the playoffs. THIS IS THE GAME WE(COWBOYS FANS) HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR, FOR A LONG TIME. IT HAS FINALLY ARRIVED.

Let the trash talking begin Boys fans!!!

Anything less than 12-4 was going to be a disappointment this season and I stand by that even now where Dallas has no margin for error.

handing the Giants their fourth straight loss and sending them to .500 would be pretty excellent. But most important would be staying at the second seed in the playoffs. Getting that first week bye is huge.

Huge indeed, this is the most trying part of the remaining schedule. Giants to secure the division, Saints to secure a first round bye, both are must wins.

To this day it astounds me how big a springboard that Colts game has been. It's unreal how big that one was.

I dont know... I dont think I want to give THAT game that much credit.... we were already CLEARLY on a mission........the "springboard" clearly is Tony Romo and that started over a month ago... we were a hiccup away from being undefeated with Romo

I don't think this is a "statement" game... that term is getting overused.

The "statement" game was when we beat Indy. (Romo's game on Thanksgiving was a personal statement game of sorts, but after out-dueling Payton, it was more like an extra exclamatin point).

We should beat the Giants. There is no statement made by doing so.

The teams with the first round byes almost always win their first playoff games.

Sadly, we could win out and not secure a first round bye. We need some NFC teams to beat Seattle.

sure there is...we havent played well against them lately...they dominated us defensively the past two games, and even the game we did win at home against them last yr was an OT game

this game is really a must win for us if we wnt to win the division and prove we're contenders...beating Indy was nice, but they had been teetering on close games all season...you have to beat good teams on the road if you are a good team yourself, and we havent done that this year

I'm not so sure...and actually, if we win out we just need Seattle to lose to anyone, not just an NFC team...we are 7-4 and they are 6-4 (and should win tonight, though it isnt a given)...we are 4-3 in the NFC and they are 5-3...if both of us win out we'd both be 9-3 in the NFC

since we didnt play head to head, I am thinking after conference record that maybe record vs common opponents would be the next tie breaker, and we lost once to NYG already...if its point differential we'll almost assuredly have them beat on that

I really dont think Seattle is going to win out though...they still have to go to Denver and have a home game vs San Diego

David

It's common opponents after conference record. Yeah, we need anyone to beat Seattle really, but if they do lose I'd prefer it to be a conference team to give us a better conference record.

Exactly... and last year we tanked after losing to them when we faced them with a 7-4 record....
