I've read a few "I'm sorry" posts, and I have to say that I don't agree.

I believe that this team deserved every bit of questioning that it received.

13 years without a playoff win was a REALITY
Choking big games away, until this year, WAS A REALITY
Romo not taking his game up a notch and not protecting the ball in big games, was a REALITY.

But it isn't anymore! No more 13 years without a playoff win! No more Wade can't win a playoff game! No more Tony Romo doesn't step his game up!

There is only 1 way to shut that stuff up, you have to go shut it up WITH YOUR PLAY.

And they did! Finally, finally, those of us so discouraged with 13 years of drought can simply tune in next week, and realize that that string is OVER.

I'm proud of Wade Phillips/Jason Garrett!
I'm proud of our QB, Tony Romo!
I'm proud of our DEFENSE. It reminds me of our best teams.
I'm happy for Jerry Jones!

I'm sorry for doubting is not the order of the day..... congratulations for putting away all our doubts is!

FINALLY.... CONGRATULATIONS!

Good gawd you are a loser....no more!

Tonight was a great feeling, and I really believe that we beat the Vikings convincingly. My hope is that the NFC Championship ends up in Dallas

This is non-sense. There have been a lot of people who were making asinine statements, with absolutes attached to them, such as..."This team will NEVER win a playoff game with Romo, Wade, etc". That isnt doubting, its hating, and it makes those people look very foolish. Those people need to apologize for those idiotic statements. The fact of the matter is, no one on these boards has ANY clue what will or won't happen, and talking as if you do makes you look silly. Personally, I think more people need to be apologizing for thier ridiculous agenda pushing.

My point was not that there may not have been some foolish statements over the years, probably some of them made out of pure frustration. My point is that until a team changes their pattern by their play, the questions not only will exist, they SHOULD exist. Respect in sports is not given, it is EARNED.

This team has EARNED it this year. It wasn't talk that changed fortunes, in fact it was when our QB and others started saying that talk was cheap and they had to, and I quote, "just go win a game".

They did it, and they deserve all the credit in the world from the top of the organization to the bottom.

By the way, as a follow up, I may have made one of those statements that you consider an absolute. I said that we won't win a Super Bowl (I didn't say EVER, just that I didn't think it was likely) running things the way Jerry Jones is currently running it. My perception being that Jerry wants too much involvement in the football side of things.

I hope I'm wrong, and Rainman actually posted something last week that I acknowledged may prove me quite wrong.

This may end up being the perfect mixture for an owner like Jerry. I still don't believe Jerry's way is the best formula as a rule, but with Wade's laid back style, and the DC/OC, Head coach, assistant head coach operation functioning under Jerry, it may well be the best formula for THIS team at THIS TIME.

I'm sure I speak for many Cowboys fans, no matter where our doubts may have been... Wade/Garrett/Jones... wherever, that what we all have in common is a desire to see our team win.

If the team wins I don't care if Jerry himself is coaching.

Congrats Jerry, and the rest of the organization!
