Finally, the day I've been waiting for since the season ended has arrived! Looking forward to the season and hoping that we get the breaks we need this year to be successful. Biggest concerns of course is the offensive line, safety positions and health of the team. Dream scenario is Dez gets 1800 yrds, Murray 1200 and Romo leads the team to a Super Bowl win. I truly believe all are possible.

Well, for some reason, I am very optimistic about the upcoming season (so 5-11 is a high probability, lol). I don't know if it's the addition of new coaches on the defensive side of the ball, Murray staying healthy and playing most of the season, Romo being more involved in the game plan, the defense staying healthy, Callahan caling plays, all the above, or wishful thinking....whew! Then, I look at the OL situation and I cringe. However, I am still more positive about this year's team than I have ever been. Is that good or bad?

We definitely need all the stars to align as far as the offensive line is concerned. That and the DL to stay healthy. It's definitely good for the physche to be optimistic.

For me, the plane trip to Oxnard starts the season.
