MENTAL TOUGHNESS.

Bad calls happen. But good teams have the mental toughness to overcome them. THIS is what encourages me more than anything about this team right now. They are showing the toughness this organization has lacked for decades.

This is no longer a soft team.

Spot on, how many times could the refs throw sand in their eyes? But they just kept fighting through it... That 75 yard td would have sunk a lot of teams, but nope they continued to chug along. Even Greg the Leg bounced back!

I think they realize that the only team capable of beating them is themselves. Seriously, if the Cowboys lose it isn't because the other team was stronger, it's because the team made emough mistakes that it gave that other team an opportunity

The next step is to continue to improve by letting up on the penalties and mistakes.

I’ll get roasted for saying this, but the refs made some accurate calls. Connor Williams has a problem with holding. Three different referee crews have consistently called him.

Yes, some of the calls were bad. And I think that particular crew is flag happy. But thank god these players don’t whine or get lost in feeling cheated. That’s the mental toughness needed to win in the playoffs.

Refs are only human, and the game is so fast. Real winners don’t blame the refs, they overcome the mistakes!!
Tiger Woods can’t beat me if I hold the pencil and am keeping score. I’m just sayin’…….

That cliche’ sounds great but it only overcomes slightly dishonest referees.

Connor Williams DOES suck. I’m not sure why people can’t see that.

The thing that makes me laugh is when our fans (as all fans do) think the refs are out to get just us. LOL! The refs today were bad. But the pats got some bad calls too. And Connor Williams DOES hold. It’s obvious. Again…good teams find a way to overcome bad calls. Mentally weak teams cry about “bad calls”.

THIS... NE is THAT team where they simply haunt certain teams. Great coaching, sound defense.. ghosts of 6 championships, home cooking on calls.. redzone turnovers... some days you have to fight adversity. This is the game that separates 9-8 vs 12-5 or better teams.

Can’t like this enough!!! Absolutely true!!!

A friend of my texted this same message to me. Only a good team can overcome and pull out the win.
