I really like what I have seen from the offensive side of the ball over the first few weeks. We very easily could be 3-0 right now if an extra break or two went our way in that KC game. As we go into San Diego, I predicted we would be 3-0. That KC game still has me smarting a touch. But I digress... Time to move on right.
I had us losing to SD but, given the magic that's happening on the defensive side of the ball and the potential on offense, I am reversing my call. We will beat San Diego handily and return to Valley Ranch sitting nicely at 3-1.
How do we get this win? We absolutely have to find balance by feeding the rock to DeMarco. Allow him to get off and setup the play action deep. Feed feed feed DeMarco. If he gets 20 carries, this is a guaranteed win. Although Miles is out, I have huge confidence in Terrance William stepping in and really giving us a nice glimpse of life after Miles. Speaking of Miles, is there an operation for hamstrings? That guy needs an intervention like I need another DeMarco Murray fathead.
