I honestly believe this team can beat the Vikes up north if they play as well as they should. That means limit the penalties to 5 or under including no pre-snap penalties (specifically means Witten, Colombo & a few others), playing better defense & bringing the hit to actually take Favre down & utilizing an offensive balanced attack. No something like 20 rounds & 50 passes. That's not balanced. Don't tell me we were for the most part behind in the game. Agree once we fell behind 17-0, it was time to crank it up, but once we put up 10 points we were well within the range of tying the score/going ahead. So that's when we go back time to Felix, etc., but instead Romo was forced by the game plan to continue to put up the ball. Don't believe any gameplan of any intelligence starts with the premise your QB should plan on throwing the ball 50 times--if you hope to win. Felix ran the ball 15 times for over 100 yards. Why in the world didn't they give him the ball at least 5 more times but also utilize MBIII when necessary and even Choice. If the Titans want to go after Romo all day, then just maybe one of our running backs, particularly Felix but maybe even Choice along with MBIII could just break a big one.
Instead we force Romo to rely on his OL cause he has to throw so much, per the game plan. The OL is our weakest link, so why in the world does Garrett put the passing game on their shoulders. Bust that OL in practice & make sure they ready to open some holes or get those players who can't play out of the way. Heck, why is Davis starting at OL next week when HH felt forced to replace him cause he wasn't getting the job done. Holland stepped in and stopped those sacks. So Holland, since there no evidence Davis was hurt, diserves to get a chance to start against the Vikes. Good grief, we have the same starting OL, except for Free, who played so bad against the Vikes in the playoffs last year & we all know what the outcome was in that game. There's no way that Jimmy Johnson would have named Davis to start the next game if he had removed Davis for poor performance and the backup had stepped it up and done a good job. This is another example of Wade simply sticking with his vets way too long and against all sanity. Heck, for all we know Wade didn't like the fact that HH sat Davis for his poor play.
