That may have been the root of the discord between Dak & CD. Dak told him before the game he was going to start sowing the seeds of his excuse. CD thought they should just play the game & see if they could win. Dak knew better.

He changed up from everything we did on defense this year. Also we just don't defend well against mobile QBs. It is big weakness of this defense.

This was the most concerning thing today especially but the last few weeks also. Pride ourselves on leaning heavily with man coverage and then come out so zone centric. I understand you are worried about the speed of reed and others but it was clear zone wasn’t working.

His feel for the game the last month or so and tonight has just been off

I almost feel like someone leaked our gameplan to the Packers before this game. They made every play against us especially on offense like they knew it. Guys were just wide open for them all game long.

Anyway I agree with you on have to go with what got you here. We've faced a lot of speedy WRs and we didn't seem to have much problem stopping them outside of the Seahawks. Quinn didn't trust these guys in a game like this and he should have.

I read between the lines on Dak and Mac post game interviews a bit of finger pointing at the Defense and by extension Quinn. This iteration of the Cowboys is done, this loss broke it for good, if the changes come from the HC to the DC and/ or players, so be it, but change, is needed.

HC, OC, DC and QB all need to be changed. And we need to get REAL LBs and not these freaking Hybrid Safeties
