Congrats Bob, but remember one thing.

One or more of those "physically challenged persons" may have your back during a tight situation someday, so don't be TOO hard on any of them, 'kay? ;)

Ok...I know they're bugging you about your weight, i have no idea how much you weigh, but doesn't the Navy have a weight requirement just to go to basic anyway?

I know back when I was about 20, and thinking of joining, they told me that I couldn't be any heavier than 200 pounds (or 17% body fat) at 6'1" tall.

At the time I know they had a maximum weight, or body fat %, for each and every height that was trying to join.

How tall are you Bob and what was your requirement, if any?

Also major props for joining the military bro. That's an awesome commitment you'll be making.

You'll have to send us pics of you in your bell-bottom jeans and little white hat!

(My half-brother was in the Navy and my family had Christmas dinner on his aircraft carrier many years back.)

Inasmuch as Naval Intelligence is an oxymoron, you'd be perfect...

Sorry, pal, couldn't resist... :D

My brother took a Tiger cruise on the USS Carl Vincent, and I got to take one on the USS Enterprise. Funny thing is, the two brothers that didn't take the Tiger cruise, ended up joining the Navy!

Dad 21+ years, eldest brother 8 years, and second eldest brother is on his 21st year in the Navy now.
