Our defense was terrible last year and Parsons was here. His defense also gave up 40 to Dallas a few weeks ago. Delusional if you think a one trick pony at DE is really going to make a difference when the rest of the defense is terrible.

Bingo. Why does Will McClay keep getting a pass here? He is the one drafting these spares. He made the decision to draft Taco over TJ Watt. He wanted Mazi as a 1st rounder and he's on his way out the league. Schoonmaker was a 2nd rd pick when there was zero need for a TE that high. And these are just a few of his blunders. Dallas is not a good drafting team at all outside of picks here and there. Too often, we are drafting to correct recent mistakes rather than to further strengthen our team.

Exactly. Nobody wants to mention Will McClay. He's the real culprit. We got no grit. Kneeland btw got owned yesterday. He was dog walked all day.
 
Nah, there is no point in winning 7 or 8 games just keep imploding with his defense. Jones boys need their faces rubbed into it but they still won’t care. Better draft pick for a team that has a lot of holes but yet has drafted awful recently. It never ends.

Hell if I was the players I would do a walk out of practice right now,

I would not show up today or tomorrow or Wednesday whenever the practices are, I would do what Parsons did,

I would do a hold in I'd sit in the gym and I would be in the meeting rooms and I'd be sitting getting rehab inside at the pools and tubs, but I would not go out to the practice field until Matt Eberflus was gone...

This likely true, but we need to do SOMETHING…..we have the 39th ranked defense…..and there’s only 32 teams.

....and our Defensive Strategy built on hope. Hope that the five defensive 1st Rd picks we picked up on the cheap miraculously recapture their college form and Hope that players find a new skillset, which has been hidden or dormant throughout their career.

Overshown if healthy will be a major upgrade. Not sure where Revel is but I would also bench Diggs and Wilson. I would also make it a point to embarrass Diggs. Cut Murray as well. Make those losers be accountable and I bet it gets better.

Dak isn't perfect, but he at least gives the offense a chance to succeed. The current defense does not
 
I just watched the game again. This is atrocious!! You don't need a top 5 defense to win. Just need to make stops!! I just don't get it! I don't see changes! Out of position, bad angles, poor tackling. Next, players will quit. JJ will try to sell this junk to us! So sick! Sorry, just venting.

Yes. I’m sure the entire locker room would be thrilled watching a first year coach be told to dump some of their teammates by the worst, most ignorant GM in the league. The will get them all on the “straight and narrow”.

Diggs is absolutely dogging it out there. It jumps through the screen.
 
Eberflus is tanking so he can get fired. He might not be great but there's no way anyone can be THIS bad! At least Mike Nolan had the excuse of the 2020 pandemic season.

I think Eberflus took the job to coach Parsons and as soon as the trade went down, it was over for him. He's not interested in rebuilding this defense and developing players. I bet he is probably putting in the bare minimum during the week.
