Just in case he's hired.:laugh2:

Seriously, there are some guys that are just not head coach material and Norv's one of them. I'd take him in a minute as OC but head coach? People can make excuses for his time in Washington and Oakland but his failures go far beyond the pitiful records. Norv's team's were among the most undisciplined and poorly prepared units I've ever seen. You look at the game they actually won against us 2 years ago when he was in Oakland and they had at least a dozen stupid penalties that kept us in the game.

Not just no to Norv I say hell no. Some say he's the safe choice. Safe in what way? Safe that we won't win a SB with him? Um, yeah. There's thinking inside the box, there's thinking outside the box and then there's Norv who's under the box. Why wait? Fire Norv now.

Seriously, 58-74-1 record should tell a lot about him. I don't know how many excuses are going to cover that record

There's no point. Norv is what he is. An OC. Not a HC. If you insist on having Terrelanoma on your team the last guy you want as a HC is a milque toast super nice guy that will be asking Owens if he wants one or 2 sugars in his coffee by the end of the first week of camp.

Bellichick learned in Cleveland he needed to have a better staff and to delegate to them. He learned to deal better with the press and to relate better to the players. What did Norv learn in Washington that he brought to Oakland? How to lead the league in penalties?
