It never fails to amaze me, although by now it should, that we will get multiple threads of fire this coach now when they should be smart enough to know that Jerry is not going to fire a coach during the season.

Agree... I guess its just the way some of us vent after yet another disappointing loss. Jerry is not going to fire anyone midseason. He has already proven that to be factual. So threads like this are simply our wishful minds at work.

We should just have a single "Vent Thread" and be done with it. Every other Vent thread and fire wade and fire Jerry and Ware is done thread should be merged into the thread.

Jason is the assistant coach now, but we can promote him to head coach for the rest of the year on the intern bases. Since he has been promised the HC position.

Dave Campo can be promoted to DC position.

I would make Herring the DC before Campo.

The call for change or for heads to roll will only get louder as these types of performances show up every week.

My question is simple: Does anyone, and I mean anyone, think a change in coaches, philosophy, players or any of that will have any impact until there is a change at the top?

To me all this talk of firing Wade/Jason, cutting players or changing philosophies is pointless unless and until Jerry either changes his ways or steps aside.

I hold out very little hope for the former and there is no way of knowing how long it will be for the latter.

I was thinking to give Jason a chance instead of firing everyone. If he can't step his game up he would be gone at season end. He would not be getting a HC job from no one.

I just want something done and done now.

Although it had no real chance of happening, if it were in my power last year I would have fired Wade after the KC game. I would have let Garrett play out the year and see what he had and then make a decision on what direction I was going to go after the season. As to this year, I am going to wait it out a few more games and see what happens. A loss next week will most likely nudge me toward the fire Wade bandwagon, although logic and reality says that Jerry will not make that move during the season.

Why? This Is The Same Old Thing Game After Game. Too Much Talent On This Team To Be Playing The Way They Are Playing. This Falls On The Coach Every Time. We Can't Fire The Whole Team, So Fire The Coach. We Need A New Identity As A Team And Not The Identity Of Wade Phillips. He Always Have A Defeated Look On His Face.

Promote Jason Garrett. Give Him The Intern Job For The Rest On The Year And Better Give Us An Over .500 Season Or He's Gone At The End Of The Season.

He should have been crap-canned after the Philadelphia loss. Everything you need to know about him being wrong for this team was revealed that day.

The team quit on Wade that day and other than a four game win streak to end last year we have been a below .500 team since December 2007. Wade is not a MOTIVATOR and that is what this team needs.
