Guys, I had to say this but I don't see Wade being fire this year. Jerry does not want to hire another coach. He really believe Wade can win and he is comfortable with him. With the threat of a strike season next year. Jerry doesn't see any urgency to fire Wade.

The stupid threat of a strike is actually controlling what JJ does...at least in his mind.

True....but so is LOSING, now which is worse in Jerry's mind is the key. Hopefully the latter.

Barring major miracle by team, there's absolutely no doubt Wade is coaching his last season here.

Will be happy to take your money.

I don't think Jerry believes in Wade at all.

Jerry believes in not wanting to look like a fool who made a mistake. Holding on to Wade somehow prevents that form happening in his mind.

Because of the product on the field, Jerry is a laughing stock. He will be even more of a laughingstock if he keeps Wade for 2011. For that reason, I think Wade is gone.

Jerry showed how much faith he had in wade....he gave him his first playoff victory in 15 years and at home so he could fill his palace. All wade got was a one-year extension. Jerry was never going to give wade a lucrative extension. Im sure jerry wanted it to work, but made sure if it didnt he wouldnt owe wade alot of money or having to pay off alot of years on his contract.

I dont understand what the strike has to do with not having a coach.

Also, if Jerry wants to look like a genius he should make JG the interim HC. If he turns things around, even a little bit it will be a win for him. It is his ONLY shot at saving face. We all knew Wade should of been fired in 07.

IMO, this all hinges on the potential lockout next year. If they get that sorted out, Wade is gone. Jerry can save face by bringing in someone new.

Jerry is not stupid, he's just looking at this from a financial standpoint. He can't fill the stadium (except fights and SB), with a dismal team, just makes no sense getting rid or Wade yet...

IF Wade wanted to keep his job, it would require him to quit taking the blame for everythng that is happening on this team.

He won't do that as that is just not in his makeup to do.

Bottom line is that this is the Dallas Cowboys.....the most storied franchise in the NFL....the team that every coach would LOVE to coach as we heard BP say back when he was here.

Yet we are relagated to a coach who hasn't really done ANYTHING in his time in the NFL as far as championships in the NFL go....Campo, Gailey, Wade.....3 out of 6 coaches in our history that really aren't worth crap. 3 coaches that really never deserved to be hired in the first place.

This for the most part. I don't think I would have canned Wade after the 07 season, but he shoulf have been gone after the 08 season. Another thing that has me woried is the body language of the team toward the end of the game, Wade could have well lost the players after today's game.
