19. DALLAS COWBOYS - CALVIN RIDLEY WR BAMA
He can be a great asset if Dallas decides to keep Dez. Or replace him if they dont. TW and Dez are basically the same type of WR. Dez have superior skills though. Ridley can line up across from either and open up the field deeper. Dallas needs more speed and explosion and Ridley gives them that.

Don’t see him being there but sure would be a nice pick and give you options with dez now or in the future

Connor Williams wont be the 3 rd pick, he'll go considerably lower. Lamar Jackson will go top 19. Arden Key supposedly has as many off field issues as Randy Gregory. Chubb goes top 5. Josh Allen goes higher. Dallas wont take Calvin Ridley at 19, they will draft D front 7.

Don't want Ridley. Not a great route runner. Not a burner. He's overrated in a very shallow WR class.
Agreed. Not really big on Ridley or any of the 2018 WRs.

Same scenario and I'm taking the highest graded D Lineman out of Christian Wilkins, Taven Bryan, and Marcus Davenport.

I also agree the other poster who said that Denzel Ward (CB Ohio State) will go top 18.

Me too. If we don't get him (highly unlikely) then I want him in the AFC.
Hopefully all the QBs that can declare will. That would push Roquan down, add in OL, DL and DB perhaps out of top 10. Need some receivers to be picked plus at least a running back or two and then he might be around 12-15. I would move up to get him and not look back. We have other picks to get receiver and some other pieces.

The key to this is free agency, we must be active in filling some positions.....or most.... Before the draft.

If all our targets are gone I'm not against taking Ward or even Derwin James. My number 1 target would be Roquan Smith though

Not a fan of moving up at all, but if Bradley Chubb was to make it to pick 8, I would try working my way to that pick and letting another expensive DE walk..... But I digress. Most likely gone at pick 3. As far as WR, I would rather have Sutton or Kirk. Just not really into a 1st round WR though. I agree with many here. A defensive front 7 most likely is the pick.

I like Sutton but I ask you this, Dez and Noah Brown aren't fast so wouldn't we be replicating that type of player/

Good question actually. Why have another possession receiver when we have Dez? Sutton would not be a replacement. I mean he could be years down the road but having two big physical receivers will demand a different way to game plan for. After the whole Dooley and Wilson thing goes down, Rather the HC or OC has to take notice right? Can the HC and OC be that dumb? Possibly... Well maybe......

I just don't buy it. There will be a change. Rather make the offense more Dak friendly, or be darned to another QB. I think they like what they got and will change. Let's face it, all business owners like cheaper better things when they can get it. A new 1st rounder QB will cost them far more. Expect more aggression and the big sure handed threat that is Sutton will turn some heads. Personally I hate the idea of a 1st rounder WR, but if I am to spend that kind of clout on a WR, I am looking at Sutton or Kirk. Kirk has the speed and the sure hands. A great #2. Sutton could be a #1 but lacks real competition coming from a small school. I just like stacking the deck and this kid could be the true wild card if we revamp the scheme like I think we will next year.

My biggest concern is after the combine, many will agree and he is off the board picks before us. While it would not break my will seeing I want a defensive front seven pick, I still think he is one of 2 WR that would change a lot with our offense. But there are many in the second round that fit the #2 mold we keep complaining about.

There's a twitter rumor out there ( NFL scout) of Browns taking Josh Allen ( Wyoming ) ........say he's the next Wentz. Penn State RB won't get past the Colts. Darnold regressed so bad, some are now questioning if he's even a first-round talent. If Smith makes it to 13-15 range, I'm packaging some picks and going to get him. He can impact our D right now as well Lee's future replacement.

I would cry if Washington got Roquan Smith
His game the other day was less than I expected. He was better later on but I had trouble noticing him for half the game. But his college tape overall is very promising.

If he requires big DL to protect him, I worry about him here unless we invest in a big strong fat man.

I package those three 4 th rounders an move to get Roquan Smith

This times however many zeros you want to throw after the number '1'. RoQuan Smith is a beast and needs to be starting on this team in '18. I need to find a way to call Jerry and inform him of this before The Clapper protests for another Boise State QB to carry his clipboard.
