That 4th down play the 4th quarter where he flat out stopped covering Cooley AFTER the ball had been thrown was inexcusable.

That play is the straw that broke the camel's back for me and RW.

He officially stinks in my book as of today.

Haha not my idea im stealing it

This post is available for ad space!

pm me :D

Biscuts is sooo annoyingly slow/fat/short/sloppy in coverage

I've been a backer of RW for quite a while, but I gotta tell you....every team that we have faced have PURPOSEFULLY gone after RW.

He needs to be able to make turns ALOT quicker than he does.....

what took you so long:D

You should have saved this post for your book then.

He had some bad coverage today. Have you not watched Cooley before? He's good, that's going to happen. I wish he would step it up, make some more plays, but some people need to stop expecting Deion-like performance from a strong safety who's weakness is obviously coverage.

He had a few good one-on-one tackles today, including a good one against Cooley that stopped a drive that could have ended up alot worse.

his hips kill him,the reason for his horse collaring/poor angles, oh well trying to get used to it but I dont think my heart can take it

It takes roy about 4 minutes to turn his hips. He made a big tackle on that third down, but he is absolutely abused by opposing offensive coordinators.

No comment on Roy Williams here. I'm actually more sad about it then upset. I really feel like someone who has watched their best friend slowly fall apart from drug use. He is a shell of the player I once fell in love with.

simply put- roy sucks, it's obvious every team goes after him and reeves.

There is a difference between weak coverage and just plan BAD coverage.

What is your assessment of the rest of the secondary?

I see you still have your love for him, so what Cooley is good,so he's not responsible for doing a better job of coverage then that.

Its the coverage, its not his fault. Meh.

If he didn't get exposed last year, he's getting exposed this year. I love my Cowboys to death, but I hate seeing him go to Hawaii every year and deserving guys like Newman sitting at home.

Yes he is responsible. That's why I said I wish he would step up and I wish he would make some big plays.

We aren't talking about a WR here, a SS should be able to cover a TE. He is a DB and a bad matchup for the defense is when you have a LB on a TE, but when you have a DB on him, that is supposed to be advantage defense.

Not with Roy. It is part of the opponents gameplan to exploit Roy, its just embarrassing.

It would be nice if the guy was at least in the neighborhood, it gets beat by a rented mule. Im done defending him, he is dead to me. :)

I am sick to my stomach that this defense gave up over 300 passing yards to Campbell at HOME.

Can't say I was all that impressed with rest of them today, but I guess having to cover for a worthless safety may also have something to do with it.

I've been a Roy backer for a while, but I watched him turn the wrong way twice. I don't think he was "exposed" or anything today, but he sure didn't help himself.

The only reason people think Roy is bad in coverage is cuz we're one of the few teams in the NFL that actually have the SS man up regularly.

Even today, though, people are blaming him for plays that clearly weren't his fault (as usual).

If Roy's near the play, it MUST be his fault.
