First day of voluntary workouts

We can joke about voluntary all we want. When you have a defense that wasn't just bad, but was historically bad, and you have all new defensive coaches and a new defensive system, I hope all of our defensive guys are here for every day possible and doing everything they can to learn and get better. Yes, it is voluntary. Yes, it is also telling. Just my two cents...

Generally, players only don't show when they haven't signed the tag yet because they are not under contract. There is no protection against injury then.
Supposedly Pickens signed the tag or is going to soon.

Why are fans worried about this stuff no I'm not watching whether he shows up for voluntary voluntary what do voluntary mean?

I can care less about Otas and mini camps when training cat gets here that's when I start watching who's gonna show up and who doesn't By then we should know a whole lot about the franchise tags and other contracts and any trades that might be made anything between now and then is is useless banter..

I have better things to worry about then who shows up for voluntary workout or who's working out in the gym at the Star..nope!
NOBODY IS WORRIED, IT'S A DISCUSSION POINT....man, you are too much, and it's intriguing if he shows because we are told he will be signing the tag and avoiding potential drama. Sheesh

With the new DC in place, im more curious to see who on the defensive side of the ball doesn't show up.

Dak wearing a black t-shirt to hide the pot belly.

Looks like he's limping a little.

Least he's got his hat on correctly.

;)

It will show if he bought in. Supposedly he will sign the tag so he should be at some of the workouts.
He will hold out for as long as possible to keep leverage But yes eventually I think once these mini camps and Otas get past that he may show up for camp real camp training camp but I think he wants to keep the leverage he's trying to get a long term deal but I don't think people realize he there were no offers for him there's still no offers for him people can offer him anything they want even though it can be rejected by the Cowboys if it doesn't come with 2 1st There has been no legitimate interest in George Pickens from other teams yet legitimate a real offer Again any offer can be made it just comes with stipulations it can be rejected if it doesn't come with you first so I don't think Georges leverage is going to work if he's got no offers..

Hopefully the smelling salts will come out not provided by the team LOL, and he will wake up and they will figure it out..

Ar $60 million anually, I expect Dak to be there on holidays too.

I would be shocked if he is at voluntary stuff.

While it’s best for him to be there. I feel like as long as he shows and participates in all mandatory stuff then it’s fine.
An unsigned player is not part of the team. George Pickens would not be allowed to participate in organized team activities, voluntary or otherwise, until he signs the tag or a new contract.

ask yourself what Jimmy Johnson would think Voluntary means? Pickens, I get because he is not under a contract. While coaches can't make a player attend, I would think a team coming off a piss poor year would be chomping at the bit to get out there and put in the work with teammates. I don't care if this is a popular feeling, but you bet any and all team workouts I expect guys who want to win to be out there
