Twitter: First glimpse of 2025 Cowboys offense

I'd love to what you think the feel of NFL practices should be. Every team from the SB winners on down joke around, there's video evidence of this. Football is fun, relax.
I think there is a time for everything and balance is the key. For a team that consistently has penalty problems, I would like to see some discipline and accountability being established.

Jimmy had a degree in Psychology. He didn't treat all players the same. He'd treat Emmitt a lot differently than someone he could cut and make an example of. Ultimately, Success is what keeps it from wearing thin.
I agree that Jimmy knew how to strike a balance, and he'd probably have adapted to the way athletes are now. Parcells was just going to be Parcells no matter what. If he wanted to only refer to a star player like Owens just as The Player, well, that's who he is. He wasn't worried about offending anyone.

I was looking at the videos provided on this thread, to show how coaches have changed in todays NFL, so I looked on youtube, how Andy Reid looks like, who I used to consider a poor man's Belichick when he was with the Eagles, and now might be the best HC in the NFL, currently... He doesn't seem so bad; I take that over wooo hooo. almost makes me think woody woodpecker is our head coach...

This clip shows 1 minute 35 seconds of a 2hr practice. Check out the other teams practices posted in this thread, they aren't 100% disipline focused either. Go to a full practice in person if you want to see that.

The Dallas Cowboys are losers, until further notice.

The cool vids looking cool...grab butt stuff?

Maybe clapping hands will make them brats happy. They done playing marbles to the crowd. OTA's...they just want to look shiny...waiting for that money. SB? lol yeah

He's going to be so painful to listen to week after week when the losses start stacking up after week 6.

We'll have that workout for him with the Dolphins had that workout him for his future career as a GM the best player developmental guy on the team the culture creator had that work after he left one of the best assemblance of coaches and players you can get when that all left where was this approach that just created something out of nothing because that's what a lot of our coaches lately have had to work with not the best rosters being built here they're all in concept not really being recognized here...

Let's be careful on the getting caught up in nostalgia and acting like somehow Jimmy Johnson just did this for three other teams he did it with Jerry Jones they hit gold with some trades they made it happen and then it died and he didn't do it anywhere else and Jerry hasn't recreated it either it's difficult to do that ask Bill Belichick why he's now at North Carolina of all schools in college why isn't he recreating New England all over again we all know the answer it's rhetorical sometimes you strike it hot you get on a roll and then it fizzles out and it's not going to be recreated these dynasties will not be recreated I want to see when Amy Reed does with a whole different set of players when there's no Kelsey and no Mahomes and no Jones on defense you know where Spagnola is not there to have his back i'd like to see what he can do happen to go to a team and just start from scratch and will he ever do what they did in Kansas City ever again on that level?

I'm pretty sure the answer is no so I get it man we all have nostalgia we all remember the 90s teams and the 70s teams that doesn't mean their way is the only way you know same thing with Parcells he never recreated the greatness from the New York Giant era he didn't it just never happened to get there's a reason for it you're not going to be able to assemble the same staff and the same players you're not going to be in the same moments against those same teams..

I mean I understand why we always keep running back to this and acting like how parcels or Jimmy Johnson or Bill Parcells and Andy Reid how they how they have a specific way they did things and how same thing way back in the day with Tom Landry but that doesn't mean another way can't work see all the types..

That's all it took was a military type atmosphere and no nonsense serious if you don't get in line you're gone type attitude then everybody would be doing it and by the way the more modern player doesn't put up with that that's why players are moving more they have figured out free agency they have figured out what agents had to get out of contracts or forced their way off teams and they're moving around a lot it's similar to college too it's kind of hard to recreate greatness there because of the transfer portal things have changed jimmy Johnson could not come back right now and do anything with this Cowboys team because he's not going to have the same players not going to have the same coaching staff he's definitely not going to have the same teams to face in the same moments....
Damn man, with all that you couldn't take the time to find the need to use a comma or a period?

The vids prove that Switzer would've been successful in today's NFL. ;)
