Twitter: First glimpse of 2025 Cowboys offense

Damn man, with all that you couldn't take the time to find the need to use a comma or a period?
No I use text to talk and many times I'm not going to go back and fix anything unless I feel it's necessary and in this case not even close to necessary..... :oldcouple:

By the way that's a lot more spaces paragraphs and use of punctuation that I usually use because I used talk to text and I don't have the time to go back and fix it if it's not necessary and again it wasn't necessary I just went back and looked at it there's plenty of punctuation i'm sorry that some of y'all have ADHD and cant focus on longer posts..

You ever coached no So your opinion doesn’t matter! Its my career what he is doing is always being in gaged with the players which is always a positive!
In Schottenheimer I trust ,I Love the energy this guy is bringing to this football team. This is good stuff these players are going to play hard for this coach you watch.

Sure chief. You’re the expert and all.
Right why does everyone have to be so extreme did he have to say pop Warner could have said high school could have said College could have just said he's not buying into the hype blah blah blah but he has to say pop Warner literally has to go all the way down to that level.

I'd love to what you think the feel of NFL practices should be. Every team from the SB winners on down joke around, there's video evidence of this. Football is fun, relax.
:hammer:Yes early on OTAS everybody's getting to know each other new year it's a little loose it will tighten up in mini camp and it'll tighten even more in training camp and as it gets closer to September things will be a lot different and you won't see it because it'll be in closed practices.....

Nothing wrong keeping it light when it's necessary to keep it light.. It's obvious that BS is just simply trying to make a good first impression on players trying to learn who they are and vice versa....

The culture that NFL coaches try to create now is they have to hold each other accountable...its so much a business now the HC has very few levers he can pull to even hold them accountable: case in point

The GM pays QB A telling the owner "This is the guy ill stake my job to it"
GM to the Coach: "Hey this QB has both our jobs in his hands"
Coach after QB plays bad: "Im gonna bench this QB"
GM to coach :"well we are both fired then"

I understand what BS is trying to achieve in the culture...achieving it in this teams FO enviroment is a competley diferent animal.
Hopefully this new Energy that Schottenheimer is bringing will spread through the team and the coaches and even Ol Jerry catches this new vibe himself ,positive vibes don't under estimate them. This organization was stagnant under McCarthy's leadership,I hope Schottenheimer can light a fire for this once soft football team.I believe he just might do that very thing.

That's because it's ota's mostly young players it's the first less than organized practices,

this is how you start making connections with players there's no reason he can't do this now and then when it becomes more serious in training camp it'll become more tight..."feels" to you like camp cupcake, who cares can't cupcake long as a result happen..

I think he has a plan and early on he needs to get to know the players and they need to get to know him the entire staff knew but there's also a lot of new players is it new everything you're trying to introduce you don't want to be all too serious when it's not serious.

There's the time to be serious and I bet you're not going to see it ,when they have closed practices closed camps, when they're doing things behind closed doors where players aren't being challenged or embarrassed in front of people...

so, you can keep their respect, and you can give them respect in a way but still be imposing and serious it's coming but that doesn't mean you're going to see it it doesn't mean an ota's it is a very light part of the ramp up period IMHO.

He's just establishing connections, and this is his way of doing it and there's nothing wrong with that.... There are always different ways of doing it this is his way, and we'll see the results at the end of the year, but we've seen this work there's been head coaches with very kind of felt like college coaches or even high school the way they treated people, and they still won games....

Pretty sure Tony Dungy won a Super Bowl being a little less than ominous he was very religious it felt like when he talked to players they were he was talking to his teenage kids or his young adults that's just the way he did it.... You look around the league there's a mixed bag it's no longer just being the no nonsense military style coach there's been a lot of new age coaches, and I know Miami hasn't done much right now, but their head coach is just like one of the guys ,but they're not changing out coaches just because of his coaching style...

What, nobody's missing Jerry's favorite wind-up toy, Jason Garrett? You know, the one where you pull the string and he goes,
"It’s a process… BEEP. Yes, Master Jerry… BEEP. It’s a process… BEEP."

If you pull it twice in a row, it just starts clapping politely.
