Jets Giants Cleveland Carolina all need QB probably round one . That increases the Cowboys chances of getting a premium defensive player to join Parsons Bland Diggs Overshown Kneeland hopefully Lawson in 2025 . And some more picks in the 25 draft on defense help expedite a much better D .

So, Cooks is back as #2? Or, will he be limited to X number of snaps?

I expect much better WR play than we've been getting with Cooks back. But, Cooks could be slowed just having not played game speed in a while. So, his stats...who the hell knows? But, WR play is going to be dependent on the offensive line's ability to buy some time in the pocket without the damn bull rush on top of Rush while I listen to my fave band Rush. And, for the wide receivers to put some gap between themselves and their covermen. I would hope having Cooks back would mean the sides are more equally matched now. I expect Coop to be running for his life all game long with some horrid statline. And, I expect about 85 yards out of Rico. I don't expect a close game but would be nice.

All that said, I'mma not sure I'mma be watching this crapola live or not. I may start out watching it. I heard something about wintry-mix and my eyes lit up. That could help us. But, fun to watch wintry-mix games, too. I was resigned to not watch and just listen to it on the radio and/or follow the threads. But, I'll be damned if I'm going to be punished watching it live another whole game long if it goes South. That was torture last game. I didn't think I would be mad but I WAS because it was a state rivalry game.

Now, let's get this **** over with and go beat the Giants.

But why are the Cowboys with 7 games left obligated to play someone because of incentives . Isn’t that the coaching staff and FO decision to play who they want ?

The last 7 games should be who do we as a team think can help us win next year. This is an extended camp .

Cooks on the same boat as DLaw and Martin . I would rather Flournoy Brooks Mingo Tolbert get targets and reps than Cooks. And please cut loose from Zeke & Cook . Dowdle Vaughn & Leupke need touches

It does set up well for Dallas. Perfect storm is to get into the top 3 and trade down and come away with 2 elite defenders and hit on whatever running backs they get.

I just want us to win one of these games against a quality team so they can be the laughing stock for once instead of us. And, if we win, then we should celebrate like it's 1999. As we all know, any team can win on any given Sunday. It's really who shows up prepared and ready to play/execute that day with some luck involved. Let them sue. You as a team have every right to find out about younger players . Look at Dliggs . He’s out more than he’s in but I’m sure his salary gets paid every 2 weeks even though the Cowboys will get torched Sunday . It’s a 2 way street . When your 3-7 younger players need reps you have to see who can help next yr.
