To be honest, I have never understood why teams make a Super Bowl championship ring look like a HS class ring. Seems like a little more imagination could be put into it and come up with something truely unique. Something that would be an attractive piece all around.

Probably just me.

They are big and gaudy so when they wear them out when they're 85, and can barely walk, people will ask, "Why do you wear that huge *** ring, Grandpa?"

and they can go into the whole story about their glory days. Essentially, they are wearable trophies, and pretty much all trophies are awkward looking.

I've never been so happy for a rival to win the SB in my life. I'd rather see that ring than 19-0. They deserve all the bling they can get. We came up small.
They only way that SB could have made me more excited was if it had been the Cowboys beating the Patriots. I didn't care who beat them, just that they got beat. But, IMO, the ring should have had something bad inscribed about the patriots. Like "Giants 17, Shady Brady and Bill Belicheat, 14." :D

It is a nice looking ring but I thought they would have a little color in them.

I do think it is cool that they have that "11 straight on the road" line put on them.

Too bad it is the giants.

I thought that was kind of cheesy. It kind of reminds me of something a High School would put on a championship banner or on the back of a championship T-shirt that also has one of those stupid "there is no "I" in team" lines on it.

Other then that, its a nice lookin ring.

Yeah, they should do Championship Brass Knuckles, or for Strahan, a Championship Tiara.

I dont know........if the Eagles win the SB, as much as I would hate that to happen, especially with McNabb and Reid there.....the NFC East would be the only Division to have all the teams win the SB.

Teams with Lombardi
AFC East - New England (3), Miami (2), NYJ (1)
AFC North - Pittsburgh (5), Baltimore (1)
AFC South - Indianapolis (1)
AFC West - Oakland (3), Denver (2), Kansas City (1)
NFC East - Dallas (5), NYG (3), Washington (3)
NFC North - Green Bay (3), Chicago (1)
NFC South - Tampa Bay (1)
NFC West - San Francisco (5)

Teams missing Lombardi (bold = never been to the SB)
AFC East - Buffalo
AFC North - Cleveland, Cincinnati
AFC South - Tennessee, Houston, Jacksonville
AFC West - San Diego
NFC East - Philadelphia
NFC North - Detroit, Minnesota
NFC South - New Orleans, Carolina, Atlanta
NFC West - Seattle, Arizona

Longest running UNFUNNY statement going....please drop it.
It was funny for 0.000000000001 seconds in that Vince Vaughn movie.

I agree, that ring looks like a high school championship ring... I think New England did a really nice job with their last two rings. I hope Jerry does something with colored diamonds or sapphires with our next Superbowl ring.

I was thinking Strahan could use some Championship braces. Bring the bling!
