My guess is the most obvious one -- Batman and Superman are against each other until they realize that Luthor is the real enemy, then they team up to take him out. Cookie cutter stuff.

Typical comic book movie plot. They aren't thinkers.

I'm still trying to figure out the premise of the movie. Is it really going to be a versus movie where Batman and Superman fight each other?

Well unless Batman discovers Kryptonite, the movie wouldn't last past the first fight seen which would last one punch.

The bat logo on his chest sucks, but looks cool other than that. Not even worried about Affleck, more worried about the plot and how they plan to pull this off, and I don't even see a situation where Superman and Batman would ever fight and that would be a one punch fight.

Supes hasn't gotten a good movie since '78.

The trailers had me so excited. The movie just left me wanting more. I think the first half hour or so turned me off and the rest of the movie couldn't make up for it.

I think Batman V Superman is just the current working title. They've already cast two other heroes, Cyborg and Wonder Woman, so this thing looks like it's probably just going to be a Justice League movie.

I'm sure the heroes will clash at some point, just like in The Avengers, but just like in the Avengers, film makers found a way to level the playing field a bit (Thor's lightning attacks gave Iron Man increased power output, Thor's hammer was absorbed and dispersed by Cap's shield, etc.).

I think Batman's gadgetry would come into play as well as over confidence on Superman's part. Tons of gadgets to perpetually slow Supes down and they've already said that Batman will be an older version of Batman in this movie, so I assume he'll be a wiley veteran hero character.

I like the way you think. It almost had to straight into justice league movie or at least the origins of the assembly of the league. Kudos.

Also, it was funny that hulk couldn't pick up Thor's hammer. So, yes, they find a way to offset each other's powers.



This looks good. Should have some yellow accents. Even if only subtle accents.

Unless it has Kryptonite, his gadgets won't mean much. All Sups has to do is use his super speed. Doesn't have to be up close to Batman for a fight, if Bat has Kryptonite.

Right. The kryptonite ploy is just silly. It only works up close and Superman's heat vision can work from at least several hundred yards away. I really wonder how they're going to tackle this in the movie.
