CowboysZone's Most Hated:
1. Eli Manning
2.Bill Belicheck
3. Shawn Merriman
4.Art
5. Roy Williams

I don't get it, why is Eli Manning the most hated?
I love Eli, I think he looks like a deer caught in the headlights everytime he drops back to pass and think he's not a good Q.B. at all, the defense won the superbowl, of course he gets credit because when he broke the tackle (cough cough, the 2 defenders ran into each other) and threw up a hail mary that the guy caught a miracle and know people think he's good!

But most hated?
Why?
Same with Belichick and Merriman, I don't get why they'd be the most hated!
My list would be Patrick Crayton, Marcus Spears then Roy Williams!
I LOVE ELI, I think he's so bad he'll win us the game when he makes a mistake!

Round and round they go... which are our diamonds in the rough?

The highlighted player, Darrell Robertson, is quite a find I think. Ok, well maybe.

This kid ran a 4.5 as a senior in HS. Sure, it may be an inflated stat but usually they aren't off a lot. Of course he weighed 215 at the time which does help. And he was a basketball star. Not surprising for a 6-5 guy with long arms who is quick and fast.

Here's hoping my enthusiasm is warranted. Hope I don't jinx the guy.

BTW, the cat thing is ok. He is certainly cat like quick.

if that's felix then why's there a star on the helmet? he has to earn it right?

He's just getting fitted. They will probably give him a starless helmet when everything gets underway.

"The Cat" is used for Leon Lett. Until Felix proves himself, Leon is the only Big Cat...

BTW, Mendenhall's nickname should be the Destroyer of "the Cat". :)

Mendenhall belongs on Meercat Manor.

This reminds me of getting issued my helmet in HS. I remember our equipment manager, at the time, was an older guy. This was before you had air pressure helmets or anything like that. You could snape out your check pads in the helmet and replace them with thicker or thinner ones, like that, but that was abut it. You could pick which mask you wanted, sort of. If you were a Back, WR or QB, you could pick a face mask between a couple but if you were a lineman or LB, you got issued what you got issued and that was pretty much it.

Anyway, he gave me my helmet, told me to put it on, he grabbed my face mask, yanked it forward, back and then changed out a pad or two and had me do the same thing all over again. head slapped my mask on each side, did the same to the back of my helmet, asked me if I could feel that and sent me on my way. In those days, it was a big deal if you got a padded chin strap but don't ask for one unless you were a QB so we would cut up Terry Cloth and glue it into the chin strap. Smelled like crap but we thought we were pretty cool.

My how things have changed.

Old cliop of Felix Jones highlights seen before, but at the 7:50 mark, the guy says JONES here it comes "TURBO TIME"!
I dont' know, I'm liking "TURBO TIME" for his nickname, or just "Turbo"!
What do you think?

Listen to the audio and I like the way that sounds from when Jones pops off a big run for Dallas, here he comes "TURBO TIME", just sounds really good if you listen to the tape and imagine him in a cowboys uniform butsing off a big run with Brad Sham saying it's Turbo time! LOL
Wasn't Dante Hall called atari, and then the human joystick?
He does the same thing when he scores that Dant'e does making an X with his arms, only a little X instead of Dante's big X!
I like TURBO or TURBO TIME cause of Madden with the TURBO button, makes sense, and I think it's a LOT better than the Cat or anything else I heard, could really market that name too if he's smart!
I mean, hell, Kenny Gant made a FORTUNE off the SHARK, still one of my all time favorite players!
I remember him before kickoff at giants stadium giving everyone in the stands the finger prior to Dallas kicking off!

No, Riddells. For a good perspective on the leather jobs, you'ed probably have to get with Pops for the details on how they wore.

I am gonna run with WR Danny Amendola - Texas Tech

I have read a little on him and have read some comments about him in here.

I hope he can be that little speed demon nuisance in the slot.

Even if he could, I doubt he would be able to do much this year. And if we're planning on being aggressive at the WR position next year, he may get bumped off the roster anyway. We'd have to be willing to dedicate 2-4 years on developing him, and I have a feeling if we try to hide him on the practice squad, he'll get scooped up like Matt Moore was.
