Oakland gave up a lot but they are needing it with Charles Woodson retiring this year. gave me there 1,2,3. in the 2nd round Jax wanted to move up and secure rights to player so i swapped picks with them and piked up a extra 4th round pick. in the 3rd round Baltimore wanted to move up 2 spots so i got there 6 and pick 30 in 4th and a 6th. with that said No comp picks loaded in First pick so i drafted like this:

Round 1 Pick 14 (OAK): Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio State (A-)
, replaces RunDMC after next year.
Round 2 Pick 5 (JAX): Carson Wentz, QB, North Dakota State (A-), has wrist issue so needs healing + some time to pick up speed of NFL game.
Round 2 Pick 14 (OAK): Shilique Calhoun, DE, Michigan State (A-), lost Mincey and Hardy in FA need more depth and don't know if 94's going to gain any weight and do anything.
Round 3 Pick 6 (BALT): Braxton Miller, WR, Ohio State (B+), Need another breakaway player. Similar to Dez just needs time to get the WR game down. Williams will be done next year
Round 3 Pick 14 (OAK): Jayron Kearse, SS, Clemson (A+), we can all agree Church has been serviceable but more speed needed at the position Kearse is very athletic and BIG.
Round 4 Pick 4: Dominique Alexander, OLB, Oklahoma (B), listed at OU as a ILB but i think he's going to take WLB spot from our concussion man once he hangs it up.
Round 4 Pick 5 (JAX): Vernon Butler, DT, Louisiana Tech (A), need depth at 1/3 DT Butler provides both.
Round 4 Pick 30 (BALT): Kamalei Correa, ILB, Boise State (A), Range OLB moved inside as he needs to be able to do the deep drop in tampa 2 we are trying to run.
Round 6 Pick 6 (BALT): Cre'von LeBlanc, CB, Florida Atlantic (A-), good #3 corner
Round 6 Pick 14: Taveze Calhoun, FS/CB, Mississippi State (B+), good #4 back up Safety / Special teams.

Not going to happen, but I like the way you think because we need help in a lot of areas. I don't think Braxton Miller is worth a third. I think he'll go around the compensation picks in the fourth.
I personally think you wait too late to address the corner position. Other than that, you hit the majority of our needs.

yeah i was trying to get value at CB and just could not get it earlier... hopefully we sign some Midlevel FA CB's after the others leave.

@calicowboy54 Was Clemson DE Shaq Lawson available when you picked Calhoun? I would rather have Lawson than Calhoun if he was there in the middle of rd 2.

Instead of Wentz at round 2, I would rather have LB Myles Jack or Jaylon Smith (if they should slide due to injury) or Ohio State LB Darron Lee or ND WR Fuller or TCU WR Doctson. Assuming they would be there.

Don't think Wentz is going to be there in the 2nd..........lots of buzz about him moving up draft boards

I am thinking middle to late first is where he is going to go...............obviously 4 is way too high for him, so we would need to trade back.

I think 4 of the players you selected will be gone by the time you selected them. I also wish a CB was taken in the 2nd or 3rd. Other than that, it looks good.

And I don't think he should.

He's a project but there is so much upside.

I do kinda wonder how much of a project he is. Joe Flacco has a solid rookie year coming from the same competition level. I think there is a distinct possibility that if we drafted him and behind our line and with Bryant, if he was pressed he could play reasonably well

I know! I really want Goff, Lynch, or Wentz!

I really think we have to come out of this draft with one of these guys.

I seriously don't know how you start the season with basically the same situation at QB that we had this year. Romo as the starter, a vet free agent, and Moore.

Besides, what level of QB are we getting in free agency? We are probably looking at Manzel, or RG3, or maybe Kapernick. I have zero faith in any of these guys in come in and win games if Romo goes down. We have to have a better plan that going with former first rounders that have busted, we tried that with Weedon and got burned bad.

We have to come out of this draft with our franchise QB.
