What will BP call to start off the Carolina game?

1. Handoff to JuJo?

2. Quick slant to The Player

3. Romo roll out and hit Witten in flat?

4. Deep fly route to Glenn?

Most definitely a pass. Play action for a 15 yard gain

With the DB giving "The Player" a big cushion, Romo pops up from Gurode and with his quick release throws a 1 yard pass to "The Player", who breaks a bunch of tackles and takes it in for a 73-yard touchdown pass.

One can dream...

Dont like 2 and 3. CB may be looking for 2 and jump the route and 3 is the first play from the Giants game that Romo botched and never should have thrown.

4 would be my preference or flea flicker with JJ back to Romo.

I actually think flea flicker would be perfect because Carolina will think run or deep pass if I were them and when they see the handoff it would be all over but the TD dance!

Look for the boys to establish the run game early and often. The kid won't make mistakes handing the ball off.. This is the formula for success with a young QB.. The first play,,sweep left. or away from peppers.

I hope the first play is a run....other teams always expect us to throw on first down, and I've seen us sacked right off the bat way too often. Run the ball on first down...if we don't establish the run, even if it's only getting 2-3 yards, we don't have a chance...we can't become 1-dimensional.

Run on first down....then go from there. Everyone and his brother will be expecting us to let Romo throw a safe one on the first play.

Where do we have the ball on the 1st possession?

Don't forget that DB isn't playing. It's going to be Romo. I expect the gameplan to be different, even though BP says it will be the same.

Screen to JJ just like in the playoff game in Carolina in 03 when Quincy tried to hit, what was the Parcells running back then, and just overthrew him on the first play of the game. GREAT CALL! I had end zone seats, and he would have taken that play 60 yards had Q not hacked the throw. Carolina sold out up the field, and it was the perfect call. Now, the rest of the game was HORRID!

The runningback in that play was Anderson, he actually had a chace to catch it.

If we want to have a chance at winning we need to establish the run and not make the whole game plan dependant on Romo and throwing the ball 50 times. If we get over 30 attempts for Romo this week we most likley lose the game.

We ran all over the Carolina D last year at their place. We've been running the ball well for the most part this season. An early dose of the run will settle Romo down. You know he's going to be sky high.

I'm choosing 1 because I believe Bill will run to setup the pass and allow Romo to settle in. I see JJ having a monster game. I think this is the one he takes over. As a result, the passing game will flourish as the game goes on.
